I suppose it’s the male version of Gloria.

BelulahBlanca · 25/07/2019 19:42

@Cbeebies Levison is probably after the explorer Levison Wood. It was my first choice for a boy.

Cbeebiesrehab · 25/07/2019 20:13

BelulahBlanca yes probably. I don’t dislike it but I find it unusual all the same.

bookworm14 · 25/07/2019 20:58

There is a little boy called Hallelujah at my DD’s nursery. Poor child.

MitziK · 25/07/2019 21:26

Nothing wrong with Mitzi, I'll have you know...

I worked with a Psyche.

TeapotofTerror · 25/07/2019 21:29

I know 2 Spikes, both mums think they are very original Grin

TeapotofTerror · 25/07/2019 21:33

I also know a Temperance, a Zelda, a Raven and a Jem (boy).
One I've never heard before is Daxton, I'm not keen but each to their own.

ThisLittlePiggyWentTo · 25/07/2019 21:38

@missmarplesknitting I have seen a baby Nigel local to me too. I wonder if it is the same place...

ReggaetonLente · 25/07/2019 21:47

Are you sure Acer isn't Asa, which is a biblical name along the same lines as Noah/Jonah/Ezra?

ReggaetonLente · 25/07/2019 21:48

Meant to say, I met a Queen today. It suited her, she was a beauty.

theWarOnPeace · 25/07/2019 21:59

Simon. I was a bit.... wtf.
There was a little Nigerian boy at my son’s nursery called either Magnificent or Magnificence. My son loved him, but called him something like Maleficent.

Moominfan · 25/07/2019 22:04

I quite like Hudson Blush

hairyturkey · 25/07/2019 22:05

Yeah I know a wolf, nuala (didn't think it was too unusual though)
Heard an Aslan the other day.

Moominfan · 26/07/2019 06:16

Nuala is a middle aged Australian name, think Debbie, Margaret, Sharon ext

Laura221 · 26/07/2019 06:21

Soren is one I think of the parent did say it was because it was a normal name in the mothers home country. Cant think where that was now.

Also yes re the previous post about asa, I went to school with a boy called asa and had a very religious family.

Benjispruce · 26/07/2019 08:39

Nuala is an Irish name, not middle aged, been around donkey's years.
