Opinions on this name? Is it too associated with the dreaded Peppa?

I feel that it's a condiment, not a name.

LittleBearPad · 16/01/2019 23:36

It’s food or a small annoying pig.

DramaAlpaca · 16/01/2019 23:36

My opinion is that it would be a bit daft to name your child after a condiment.

Piper would be a slightly better option.

MargotLovedTom1 · 16/01/2019 23:36

Or a seasoning?
And yes, Peppa Pig.

SumAndSubstance · 16/01/2019 23:36

What? No.

StarbucksSmarterSister · 16/01/2019 23:37

I'm old enough to remember Angie Dickinson as Pepper Anderson in Policewoman. I ever even thought of the pig.

HeronLanyon · 16/01/2019 23:38

Unused to love with a cat called pepper (she did not have sister called salt ‘n). Think this is just a silly name to give a child.

Crinklesmile · 16/01/2019 23:38

There was a girl called Pepper on American Horror story. I actually like Piper too, as mentioned above

HeronLanyon · 16/01/2019 23:39

Used to live -Apols. Typing fail again.

CarolDanvers · 16/01/2019 23:40

Absolutely not. Right up there with Brandi. Another wtf?! name.

Kokeshi123 · 16/01/2019 23:41

It's really silly, sorry.

WisdomOfCrowds · 16/01/2019 23:58

Ooo could you use it as a middle name... first name "belle"? Though it's probably a joke that works better in America than here.

Another vote here for Piper.

IHeartKingThistle · 17/01/2019 00:00

There's a Pepper in Annie isn't there? I think it's quite sweet. But people will be AWFUL about it.

Reallyevilmuffin · 17/01/2019 00:07

You can tell this forum is like 99% female. The biggest pepper (sic) is 'Pepper Potts', from the MCU and Iron man, played by Gwyneth paltrow. Likely to be a lot more popular from this. Did DP suggest it? Don't think it's bad, but every male for at least the next 20+ years will see this association instantly.

AnotherRoadsideAttraction · 17/01/2019 00:11

It's a hard-knock life...

Steamfan · 17/01/2019 00:12

Yes, like a previous poster I though Pepper Anderson!

SilverySurfer · 17/01/2019 12:35

Why not Malt Vinegar? Hmm

bruffin · 17/01/2019 12:38

i thought Pepper from Annie

Aprilshowersarecomingsoon · 17/01/2019 12:38

We had a dog called Pepper....

Tubbykins · 17/01/2019 12:39

It's at best a cats name.

HRTpatch · 17/01/2019 12:41

Bigonesmallone3 · 17/01/2019 12:56
