Good, bad or ugly?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
OnlyFoolsnMothers · 11/01/2019 14:12

bad....as in bad boy imo

StarrySky7 · 11/01/2019 14:53

I don't like it at all. It's a different spelling of coal and why would you want to name your child after a black rock?

MikeUniformMike · 11/01/2019 15:03

As in Cole Porter. No from me. How about Colin?

StarrySky7 · 11/01/2019 15:11

OP, what about Kit short for Christopher?

Lightsong · 11/01/2019 15:14

I quite like it

Flamingchips · 11/01/2019 15:14

My nephew is called Cole, it wasn’t common when he was born but hearing it more now. I really like it, ghe name suits him.

Colin is old fashioned, christopher/kit wouldn’t work where I’m from.

Go with what you like 😊

MrsBungle · 11/01/2019 15:16

I think it’s nice. —unlike Colin—

maggiemuff · 11/01/2019 15:18

I like it

waywardfruit · 11/01/2019 15:19

No, don't.

missmouse101 · 11/01/2019 15:23

Ugly imo. Old King Cole. Not nice.

Gumball54 · 11/01/2019 15:44

Good. I like it. Much nicer than Colin.

ladycarlotta · 11/01/2019 16:12

I like it.

Moominfan · 11/01/2019 16:13

I love it

MikeUniformMike · 11/01/2019 16:13

Short names get lengthened - Coley is a fish.

Grace212 · 11/01/2019 16:14

I quite like it

good character in The Affair.

molemonkey · 11/01/2019 16:15

My 11yr old is called Cole so I love it!

IHeartKingThistle · 11/01/2019 16:15

He's a Lego Ninjago. He's already cool.

IHaveBrilloHair · 11/01/2019 16:16

No.

TheBitchOfTheVicar · 11/01/2019 16:23

Cole Hawlings from Box of Delights!

I know a young Cole and I like it.

Canshopwillshop · 11/01/2019 16:25

I quite like it - much cooler than Colin! I love the suggestion of Kit too.

ShowOfHands · 11/01/2019 16:26

Not my cup of tea at all. I don't like surnames as first names.

MissLanesAmericanCousin · 11/01/2019 16:36

Personally, I like Cole a lot. It's strong and masculine and very handsome. I had a best friend whose name was a longer version of this, but I preferred to use Col, as it suited it personality much better,

Personally, I don't like Colin, sounds a little wet. Kit is interesting though. However, I'm not keen on Christopher or Chris, but I do like Christian.

Good luck & Congratulations! Flowers

MissLanesAmericanCousin · 11/01/2019 16:37

his personality much better

3out · 11/01/2019 16:39

I like it.

slappinthebass · 11/01/2019 16:56

I really like it. I'd be wary of it becoming really popular (potentially chavvy name) though. I prefer Clay, and I've always put them in the same category in my head.
