Lydia?

What do you think to Lydia? It’s the only name that I’ve suggested that DH likes. TIA xx

I like it - very sophisticated. Makes me think of the character in The Rivals, and of 'Love for Lydia'.

Lydia and Lyvia are two of my favourite names. Both sophisticated.

Dd1 is Lydia and in year 6 at primary. She's the only one in her school of 500 dc. There are a couple of others in the area but older dc. I love it - classic, not overly used but not crazy either.

I like Lydia but it does always seem a bit wet to me. Probably because I know one who is a bit of a drip.

Lyvia is awful and not a real name! It's Olivia.

Lyvia is a very real Italian name! Like Cinzia or Chiara. It’s the name of Colin Firth’s wife, not made up at all 🙄.

I like it a lot, weirdly feel the opposite about it to a PP, it’s a very very strong name although i associate it with goths (Lydia Lunch)

If I had a baby girl born 31st October I’d be very tempted

Absolutely gorgeous. I would have used it if the -a sound didn't clash with our surname...

Lyvia is definitely a name. I heard it on the wonderful Inspector Montelbano. Sounds even better with an Italian accent and slightly bowed legs .
