Winter solstice name for baby girl

Lucy as St Lucy’s day is around the solstice and she is associated with light.

Can we settle in with some mulled wine as well? Keep us posted OP and good luck with the birth. My little one was born on 26 Dec. 9 years ago. Its a magical time to have a baby, and brings home the real spirit of Christmas.

Whatever you believe, a midwinter baby is rather lovely gift.

Solas (Irish for light). Pronounced ‘Sullus’, roughly. The second vowel is a schwa.

I'm a Welsh speaker and even growing up it was still fairly unused in my experience.

It's beautiful. Just conjures up pure, untouched, clean snow. So perfect for a baby.

Despite the moon hitting my enormous bump through the skylight all last night, I am, alas, still pregnant. Know that this thread is contributing to me not going insane due to being overdue. :)
