Lucky?

Inspired by another thread today -
This is a name I like but a lot of people say that it's a dog name which I find completely understandable, but would anyone say it's usable?

Although wasn't there a Britney song about a 'girl called Lucky'?

Definitely not a human name imo. I can imagine a lot of rude jokes about this name.

So no, I couldn't name her after the Sony either.
Far too many "getting lucky" jokes
It's a dogs name
It's a word not a name

If I had this name I'd be so embarrassed and self-conscious every time I walked under a ladder, got shat on by a bird etc etc... All those little things associated with good or bad luck. So much potential for piss taking, enquiries about this weekend's lottery numbers. It'd just be never ending, surely?! I wouldn't do it.

I know a Lucky. She suits her name, rocks it and it really changed my opinion on it as a name. Comes across like any other name once you get used to it. Go for it!!

Could be a nickname for Lucia/Luciana/Luca etc if you must.

We had a boy called Lucky in our primary school, i guess there was the odd joke but he wasn't bullied or harassed over his name . He was a really sweet boy but very shy!
