Gertrude can be Trudy. I've always thought that was lovely.

I know a 3 year old Vera, several little Violets, an Ernie, and a Norman. I can't ever see Sharon coming back, but presumably it will some day.

I know a lovely little boy called Kenny! Also surprised to see pps say Barbara as I thought that was coming back already - Victoria Coren Mitchell and David Mitchell's dd is called Barbara.

I know an Ethel and a Vera.

I thought Stella was fairly popular?
