So, me and my fiancé are expecting our first baby in February.. and just wondering peoples opinion on the name we have chosen as it is a strange one and I think I can handle peoples opinion on here more than family and friends so just be honest haha. I decided I didn't want a 'plain' name as my parents literally made my name up and from what I know, there isn't anyone else with my name!
Her name will be Hailee-Rey Smile

I would spell it Hailey and drop the hyphen.

I wouldn't want to inflict this on a child to be honest. It's not a nice name. If you really want it, don't hyphenate it, at least!

I like that name, sounds good. Am intrigued what her middle name would be.
A friend of mine is called Hailee, simply because her dad didn't know the traditional spelling of Hayley and it was him who did the birth certificate

Rey is fine for the middle name (not hypenated with the first). Then maybe Hailey if you don't want the original spelling.

Generally dislike names ending in 'ee', it makes them ditsy/dumb sounding (sorry, you wanted honesty!)

Hailee is actually a really common name but what bugs me is there are so many spellings! I would probably go for Hailie Rae. What about Hallie? This is a bit more unusual
