I only like Scarlett

wildewillow · 25/11/2018 12:28

Do not name your child Candy!!!!
The rest are fine.

MonteStory · 25/11/2018 12:29

Amelie.
Polly is ok but I feel like it should be short for something.

Astronica · 25/11/2018 12:31

I really like: Polly, Ruby, Matilda and Scarlett. The only ones I dislike are Candy and Frieda.

Polkasq · 25/11/2018 12:31

I like Poppy and Ruby.

DramaAlpaca · 25/11/2018 12:33

I like Matilda & Ruby.

I dislike Poppy, Candy & Frieda.

BurtTyrannosaurusMacklin · 25/11/2018 12:35

Matilda and Amelie are both nice. I LOVE Frida but not so much with the 'e' in as it turns it into "fried-a" in my head! Candy is awful, please don't use that!

cariadlet · 25/11/2018 12:55

Most are lovely. Candy is awful. Sounds like a stripper. Frieda looks ok written down but I think it sounds a bit of an old lady's name when said aloud. Reminds me of Bert's wife in The Archers.

userabcname · 25/11/2018 12:58

They are all fine except Candy, which makes me think of the old man in Of Mice and Men.

Mumshappy · 25/11/2018 13:00

They are all lovely apart from Candy

Pixel99 · 25/11/2018 13:03

Agree with pp's on Candy unless it nn for Candace (and even then Hmm).

Twatforahat · 25/11/2018 13:04

Frieda

BlueCheese23 · 25/11/2018 13:11

Love Isadora and Matilda. Polly, Poppy and Ruby are fine. Really dislike Scarlett.

daisypond · 25/11/2018 13:22

Polly - cutesy, but OK. It's a diminutive of Mary.
Poppy - I like this - nice flower.
Ella - bit bland.
Isadora - OK-ish, but a bit frilly.
Ruby - really like.
Matilda - OK.
Candy - no.
Amelie - no. Twee.
Frieda - yes. Similar vibe to Matilda but more unusual.
Scarlett - OK-ish, but I'm not wild.

MikeUniformMike · 25/11/2018 13:23

Polly - like
Poppy - like
Ella - ok
Isadora - don't like
Ruby - ok
Matilda - ok
Candy - don't like. Cindy is nicer
Amelie - don't like
Frieda -don't like
Scarlett- ok

NannyKasey · 25/11/2018 13:33

I like Ruby but DGD1 is Ruby so I'm a bit biased, however from your list I also like Polly, Poppy, Matilda, Amelie and Scarlett.

Please don't call her Candy

MoMoandJoJo · 25/11/2018 13:38

I like Ruby and Scarlett best from your list

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 25/11/2018 13:38

Poppy Freida Matilda.

BackIntoTheSun · 25/11/2018 13:41

I like:

Ella
Isadora
Matilda
Amelie

stellarfox · 25/11/2018 13:45

Polly - Bit dated but fine
Poppy - It’s ok, very popular!
Ella - Nice, although I’d prefer Elle
Isadora - Interesting, quite unusual
Ruby - Ok
Matilda - Really like this and nn Tilly
Candy - This is the only bad one on this list to my mind
Amelie - Nice
Frieda - Very nice, not very popular
Scarlett - I do like it but it’s a bit of a guilty pleasure for me

Overall my favourites are Ella, Matilda and Frieda

Opheliasgoldenwine · 25/11/2018 14:09

Scarlett
Isadora
Poppy
In that order Smile

bridgetreilly · 25/11/2018 14:14
