Or should it be Annabelle? I'm never quite sure! Either way do you like the name and which spelling is correct, the more I look at both the more unsure I am of the correct spelling!

Annabel. I think it’s lovely.

SoyDora · 21/11/2018 11:43

Prefer the spelling Annabel and I think it’s a great name.

Kissel · 21/11/2018 11:45

Not a fan. Reminds me of the Baby Annabelle doll.

TatianaLarina · 21/11/2018 12:00

Annabel.

It’s ok it’s a bit stereotypically Sloaney like Rupert.

Pemba · 21/11/2018 12:05

Nice. Prefer it spelled simply Annabel.

Sophronia · 21/11/2018 12:31

Annabel

halcyondays · 21/11/2018 12:34

I like Annabel.

LadyPamplemousse · 21/11/2018 12:37

Too sloaney and jilly cooper-y for me.

SoyDora · 21/11/2018 13:02

Is it sloaney?! That wouldn’t spring to my mind at all.

junebirthdaygirl · 21/11/2018 13:02

Beautiful name.

LadyPamplemousse · 21/11/2018 13:15

Well the club of the same name is/was a prime sloaney hangout and I’m sure many an Annabel met their Rupert on the dancefloor of Annabels.

SoyDora · 21/11/2018 13:17

I’ve never heard of the club so I guess that just shows how un-sloaney I am Grin.
Anyway the Annabel’s I know aren’t at all sloaney.

Twickerhun · 21/11/2018 13:19

Love it. It’s quite popular round here along with Florence and Isobel

lebkuchenlover · 21/11/2018 14:31

It always gets misspelled- Anabell, Annabell, Annabel, Annabelle, Anabelle..!

GreatDuckCookery6211 · 22/11/2018 15:55

Annabel. Lovey name.

Jakethecob · 22/11/2018 16:24

It was my back up name twenty years ago. Lovely

RuthW · 22/11/2018 16:59

Nice name if you don't mind popular. There are loads here.

RedDwarves · 22/11/2018 20:17

It's a nice enough name, but unfortunately I have only ever known awful people called Annabel, so it's tarnished for me.

DramaAlpaca · 22/11/2018 21:55

Annabel is just lovely.

Annabelle is a bit fussy & frilly for me.

Justlikedevon · 22/11/2018 22:30

Love Annabel though v much dislike belle as a shortening.

MeVoila · 22/11/2018 22:33

Lovely name. Prefer spelling Annabel.

iwantasofa · 22/11/2018 22:35

Not keen, but if I had to choose would prefer the -le ending personally. The -el sounds somehow too blunt and flat and 'end-stopped'.

MrsGB2225 · 22/11/2018 22:35

I like the name, but know an absolute bitch called Annabel and that’s ruined it for me

moredoll · 22/11/2018 22:37

I like Annabel, butI think I prefer Anna fit it's simplicity.
