Girls name to honour Father in Law

Both mine and my partners dad's names are Malcolm. My partners dad is very poorly and will pass away soon before meeting our daughter who is due in April - we are heartbroken.

We are leaning towards Seren/na for a first name (not a definite yet), and her surname will double barrelled with 4 syllables and starting with T. Can anyone think of a way of honouring both of our dads in our daughters middle name? We are stuck, and also, very aware its not the best name.

Mali is an actual Welsh name, there are two in my ds’s class (Welsh medium school). That would be perfect.

I have a Malcolm in my family and his children have the middle name Malgwyn.

Mali is lovely- quite popular here at the moment.

Sorry for your loss, I should have added. I think using a name is a lovely way of remembering someone.

Sorry- just one more post! I forgot to say I think Seren is lovely too. Whilst it’s not ‘rare’ here it’s certainly not common either.

Definitely not Melena for the same reason as others have suggested.

One of the Obamas daughters is called Malia, I think that's quite pretty.

I know a Mally. Beautiful girl who really suits her name.
