Our last name is Smith, which do people prefer?

Thanks!

Christian. Didn’t know Hart was a name.

Raera · 08/11/2018 13:23

Christian

pipilangstrumpf · 08/11/2018 13:38

I don't really like Chris Smith, but it's better than Hart.

RaininSummer · 08/11/2018 13:39

Hart seems a little strange.

Twelve8Ts · 08/11/2018 14:33

Hart, if Christian will be shortened to Chris

lebkuchenlover · 08/11/2018 15:13

Hart as Christian Smith is a bit of a tongue twister

NonaGrey · 08/11/2018 15:17

A Hart is a deer, so not an obvious name for me.

Hart Smith does sound a little like a law firm.

Christian is however lovely. All the Christian’s I have ever known have been pretty cool.

Shadow1234 · 08/11/2018 15:40

I prefer Christian, but not too keen on Chris as nn.
Hart is an ok name.

InfantaSybilla · 08/11/2018 16:47

Hart Smith sounds like a Mills and Boons/cheesy American soap opera stud/villain.

I prefer Christian

bananasaremyfriends · 08/11/2018 16:51

Christian. Hart is not a name.

Sophronia · 08/11/2018 21:00

Christian

Moominfan · 08/11/2018 21:05

I like hart

Twelve8Ts · 08/11/2018 22:34

Yes Hart is more commonly known as a surname, as is Cooper, Mason, Parker etc which are gradually becoming popular as forenames. So bored of seeing ‘this isn’t a name’ like it’s a fact, just because some people haven’t heard it used before.

peachypetite · 08/11/2018 22:36
Confused
FellSwoop · 08/11/2018 22:38

Am I alone in thinking of the fairly obvious rhyming name Hart will be tormented with throughout school?

PippilottaLongstocking · 08/11/2018 22:39

I like Hart, although you’ll get people thinking he’s called heart

CryptoFascist · 08/11/2018 22:41

Christian. Pp are right, people will think he's called Heart. He'd get teased in high school, called Heart disease or something.

Picknickers · 08/11/2018 23:56

Farty Hart Hmm

GetOffTheTableMabel · 08/11/2018 23:58

I’m afraid I think Hart Smith sounds like an estate agent.

Pooleschoolschoice · 08/11/2018 23:59

Christopher?

ItsalmostSummer · 08/11/2018 23:59

Hart. I know a Hart. Lovely name

AnotherRoadsideAttraction · 09/11/2018 00:00

Hartley is mildly better, but frankly I'm not keen on either Hart or Christian. (& yes, Christian will just end up being Chris...)

Anything else is on your list??

AnotherRoadsideAttraction · 09/11/2018 00:03

What about Tristan?

Tristan Smith

AnotherRoadsideAttraction · 09/11/2018 00:04

(I hope I didn't come off harshly - I've had a large glass of wine and feeling a wee bit loose!!) Blush

Didyeeaye · 09/11/2018 00:29

Christian is much nicer than Hart.
