I prefer Isadora, DH prefers Isolde so looking for your opinions. Already have a 3 year old Juno.

Isadora, though you'd need to be prepared for her to be called Izzy and people will assume her name is Isabelle.

Vi0l3t · 06/11/2018 20:12

hotstepper4 I always thought dora was a more natural nickname for it

I utterly adore the name Isolde. Adore it.

donkey86 · 06/11/2018 20:15

Isolde is a lovely name. Isadora is nice, but will always be Wizadora to many.

(And there goes the Wizadora theme in my head again... funny how some things stay with you)

starzig · 06/11/2018 20:15

I prefer Isolde but not sure if people would struggle with pronunciation.

starzig · 06/11/2018 20:17

I would also give a major slap to anyone trying to shorten it.

TatianaLarina · 06/11/2018 20:39

Isolde, love it. Prefer Iseult but they’re both great.

Isadora - don’t like at all.

Eleanor90 · 06/11/2018 20:58

Vi0l3t · 06/11/2018 20:58

I think Isolde goes better with Juno.

SallyWD · 06/11/2018 21:19

I LOVE Isadora!

Applepiecake · 06/11/2018 21:37

I prefer Isolde.

Pangur2 · 06/11/2018 21:39

Isolde!!!!

Didyeeaye · 06/11/2018 21:54

I prefer Isadora. As a Scot I'd be inclined to call her Isa for short lol

Sophronia · 06/11/2018 22:04

Isadora but I prefer the Isidora spelling, as it is the feminine form of Isidore.

mikapatika · 06/11/2018 22:06

Isolde also prefer Iseult ❤️

Wenttoseainasieve · 06/11/2018 22:07

LOVE Isolde!

BreconBeBuggered · 06/11/2018 22:08

Isolde. I like Iseult now that I see it suggested by pps too.

INeedNewShoes · 06/11/2018 22:08

Isolde 100%

RedDwarves · 07/11/2018 08:17

Isadora.

I think Izzy and Dora are equally probable, in the same way that Izzy or Bella would be for Isabella.

LeeMiller · 07/11/2018 08:35

Isadora. I prefer Dora as a shortened form, but Izzy/Isa seems more natural to me (as it does for Isabella) so I think you would need to be prepared for her to potentially become Izzy at school etc.

hulabaloo · 07/11/2018 08:37

Isolde is much nicer.

AdoreTheBeach · 07/11/2018 09:06

How do you pronounce Isolde?

hulabaloo · 07/11/2018 09:07

Is ol de three syllables

AnnaMagnani · 07/11/2018 09:08

Isolde. Unless your husband likes Wagner in which case, definitely Isadora.
