Girl's name - Not ending in A or Y (or eee sound) and a "difficult" surname

Mollie85 · 25/10/2018 18:25

Not for me, sadly.

As above. Surname is a posh car rhyming with "spent-lea" Confused

Names already discounted:

Hope
Alice
Charlotte
Elizabeth
Grace

Names considered but unsure:
Maeve
Madeleine

Name loved by both - Honor . Breaks the rules and with surname - is it like "on a (posh car)"?

Thanks for the help 😄

I really like Honor and I think the ‘on a Bentley’ is fine. Interesting to see if others agree.
Actually very hard to find girls names that don’t end in a or e.

Sorry for naming two names on your ‘no’ list!

Pooleschoolschoice · 25/10/2018 19:43

Surely it has to be.

Iona (I know. Not helpful!)

I dont think you can have Honor either but lots of the other suggestions are lovely.

An A name will get," are you A Posh Car?" Too. A friend was A Bush and had that problem often in school. Where is A Bush...
