Middle name to go with Ezekiel

So we really like Ezekiel as a first name, but struggling to think of a middle name... Our surname is single syllable so not worried about it being too long. Hubbie likes William as a middle name but I'm not quite convinced, any suggestions?

Ezekiel? Really?

Can you try spending a week introducing yourself to strangers as Ezekiel and see what reactions you get before giving the name to a child?

Ezekiel is a lovely name! What about something like David.. quite classic but strong enough to match the first name.

@crunchtime are you always so anti Semitic? Not every person asking about a name on mumsnet is a white Anglo-Saxon Protestant. As an Israeli Jew, Ezekiel is not an uncommon name and has great meaning and history.

Ezekiel is lovely. One of mine is called Ezekiel. His middle name is Matthew.

We were gonna go with Ezekiel Zachariah so we could use Zeke Zach as a nn 😁

I love the name Ezekiel and it will be on my short list if I ever have DS2. I would use the middle name Henry as it also has family connections. Otherwise, I think pretty much anything goes with it really. James? Gregory? Charles? Theodore?
