What are your opinions on the name Julian for a boy?

It's a no from me.

I like it.

I don't like it either

I am prepared to be abused for this but I do think this name is associated with homosexuality.

I like the name but I struggle to imagine it on a baby or toddler for some reason.

Posh & wet.

Immediately I added clary to it. But aside from that I quite like it

Love this name. I think of Julian being tall, sporty, intellectual, free thinker with a heart of gold.

Think of NFL player Julian Edelman who is gorgeous!

What difference does it make if it's associated with homosexuality? It's not like it's associated with murder?!

Although to the original question, no don't like it. Can't put my finger on why.

When we were very young my best friend and I were going to call our sons Julian. It hasn't happened.

My husband is a Julian and I think it's a really nice name.

At school he did get teased for the Julian Clary association, but I doubt this would be an issue for a baby born now.

The one thing we do find is that he is forever being called a different name, like Justin. Don't know why - maybe because people don't expect a Julian?

I prefer Julius.

Made me think of Julian Sands. Tall, blond, posh.

Julian casablancas is gorgeous. I also have a friend called julian who is also gorgeous. He is french and very successful. Its a beautiful name op.
