DH doesn’t like any of my names

My DH has vetoed all the names on my list while coming up with a shorter list I don’t like. Suggestions for names we might both like please?!

Aidan (he thinks this is ok)

His list:
Theodore
Max (which we can’t have as my bf called her child that)

If we have a girl we have agreed on Georgina. But we don’t want George.

Help!

I also like many of the classic names you’ve all posted

The only names I’m not keen on are Kai and those that are very popular like Oliver and Jack

There are also a few we can’t have due to friends/ family...so James Matthew Alex Joshua all out. Also don’t like some because of famous connections eg Spencer Matthews, such a shame as it’s a lovely name! But all the other ones are in the running- just need DH to like some of them!

Also what do you think of Aidan and should i push that as it’s the only one he said is ok?

We really struggled with boys names not many we liked we were going to go with Nicholas but didn’t go with our surname if shortened to nick

I'm not keen on Aidan, sorry! Maybe try and find one you both love first. My OH was so difficult with finding a name too but after a lot of effort we FINALLY found one we both loved and don't even slightly regret it 2 years later

Georgina is a lovely name for a girl and can be shortened to
Gina instead of George/Georgie.

I really like Aiden for a boy (and not too popular where I live)

DH has disappeared upstairs and is avoiding the naming conversation.

I’ve a feeling it’s a boy and we are never going to agree on a name! I’m only in the second trimester so we have plenty of time but we chose the name for our DD so quickly last time!

Ugh, about every fifth dog is named Max. And Theodore? What century is your husband living in? If he doesn't like your list he needs to come up with a new list himself, because these aren't choices.

I have an Aidan over here. He is 22 now and I didn’t know any other DC with the same name. I have a Luke too. Names are tricky and at least you have a short list even if your OH is very short.
