Not a fan of any of your boys names. And like Nora from your list.
Maybe Eleanor? (That can work in Italy as well)
Alessia is quite pretty as well if you want an Italian name

PaintingOwls · 28/09/2018 16:34

Giulietta?

elizabetter · 28/09/2018 16:35

ladyflangewidget south of Italy I’ve seen a lot of little Asias, Serenas, Gioia and Alessio/as

chewbacca83 · 28/09/2018 16:35

Thanks for the suggestions. Unfortunately due to family politics there are so many names we can't use. I'm actually edging towards Vinnie for a boy. I love Nora but my friend recently said she hates the name and it's put me off a bit

Do you live in the UK?

I love Massimo/Max. Bruno makes me think Frank and that Sacha Baron Cohen character. Vincenzo is nice, I prefer the shortening Enzo though. My (central) Italian DH considers it very southern, and rejected Raphael/Raffaele for the same reason.

I like Nora, especially as a shortening of Eleonora, my absolute favourite Italian girl's name. Vanessa/Nessa/Nessie is very nice too. Maria is a bit religious and middle-aged woman for my taste, I think it sounds better in the UK than Italy.

chewbacca83 · 28/09/2018 17:13

We are UK based. It's funny how Italian names can be so regional. I love Rosella but my husband vetoed it as a regional name for somewhere very different to where he is from

Vinnie and Nora.... screw your friend ! HmmGrin

lolbrador · 28/09/2018 17:22

My little girl is called nica. After an Italian relative. Not to everyone's taste but I heard it and fell in love with it even if it is a handbag brand

17caterpillars1mouse · 28/09/2018 17:29

I like Bruno and Raphael. Not keen on Ray though.

I love Norah for a girl and quite like Mary and Vanessa. I like Marie but not Maria

Bonnefoi · 28/09/2018 17:41

Luka or it might be Luca. I think is Italian for Luke?

Peachbubble · 28/09/2018 20:19

Bruno, Massimo or Norah (but spelt this way) are my favourites from your list

TatianaLarina · 28/09/2018 20:37

Like the boy’s names, but don’t like the girls and there are much prettier Italian girls names out there. I really like Cosima.

Shadow1234 · 28/09/2018 22:32

Torn between vincenzo and raphael for a boy (love them both)
Love Vinnie as nn, not so keen on Ray as nn.

Maria is the only girl name I like, but dont love.

Not too keen on others
Good luck!

All the Marias I know have a second name that they are actually known by.
