i really like astra and saskia.

just to throw another name in there, what about zinnia? it sort of goes with all the names in your list..

IdahoJones · 27/09/2018 20:43

Etta and Saskia are lovely I think.

What about Kasia? It's Polish, pronounced 'Kasha'.

ConsiderHerWaysAndOthers · 27/09/2018 20:49

Asia - a continent
Astra - a car
Bindi - what some Hindi women wear on their forehead
Etta - VW Jetta (a car, very popular in America)
Farrah - that teen mom turned porn star
Grey - ‘s Anatomy
Hattie - lovely, even better if it’s short for Harriet
Jovie - don’t get it, don’t like it
Juniper - very cool, wouldn’t be brave enough to use it myself
Lux - we use this as an abbreviation for luxury goods at work, it’s not a name
Mika - a (male) judge on the French version of the voice
Saskia - love this, definitely my favourite

cantfindamoniker · 27/09/2018 20:51
  1. Saskia 2. Juniper the other names are not for me. How about Romy or Zia? They seem to go with your name list?
rhubarbfool · 27/09/2018 20:51

Love Etta and Hattie.
What about Greta, or Erica?

beanaseireann · 27/09/2018 20:53

Saskia

Mayhemmumma · 27/09/2018 20:54

Etta is amaze

TempsPerdu · 27/09/2018 20:57

Interesting list! My top three would be Etta (but I’m biased as I have a Greta), Astra and Juniper. Hattie is cute too, but I’d only use it as a nn for Harriet. Not keen on Bindi, Jovie or Lux.

Hellywelly10 · 27/09/2018 20:58

I like hattie, love Astrid, i know its not on your list but its similar to the first two.

badg3r · 27/09/2018 21:10

scrivette · 27/09/2018 22:04

My two favourite from your list are Astra and Etta, I love Astrid if you would consider that?

Heratnumber7 · 27/09/2018 22:12

Asia- it's a continent
Astra - meh
Bindi - it's an Indian caste symbol (or something)

I don’t really like any of them much. Just not my taste. Hattie and Saskia are OK.

wheresmyhairytoe · 27/09/2018 22:27

Etta, Saskia or Hattie.

The others are awful.

rainingcatsanddog · 27/09/2018 22:35

zippyswife · 27/09/2018 22:51

BewareOfDragons · 27/09/2018 23:08

Asia - No
Astra - Caroon character or car
Bindi - No
Etta - James
Farrah - 70s, but I do know two of them!
Grey - Best name on the list, but definitely a boy's name.
Hattie - Cute, but I wouldn't want to be a grown up with that name
Jovie - sounds like a nickname, not a name
Juniper - Trendy type name, even if it is a plant
Lux - Luthor
Mika - Yes, even though I wouldn't use it
Saskia - Yes, even though I wouldn't use it

Not the best list of names, tbh
