Thanks for your responses. You have confirmed that Lolo is definitely a no no. Struck off the list.

It also means grandpa in Filipino :)

Thesnobbymiddleclassone · 26/09/2018 17:47

Lolo rolo yolo. Do you really have to ask.

TittyGolightly · 26/09/2018 17:48

Iolo (first letter is an I, not an L) is a male welsh name. Pronounced Yol-o.

MakeItStopNeville · 26/09/2018 17:49

What about Lilou?

EmpressAdultHumanFemale · 26/09/2018 17:50

You have confirmed that Lolo is definitely a no no.

But you know you'll keep getting horrified responses from the hard of thinking who don't RTFT? This might be time to hide the thread.

Nesssie · 26/09/2018 17:52

The way I judge it is, would you want your lawyer (representing you on a very important case) to be called this name?

Speaking as someone with an unusual name, it may be cute on a baby/toddler but in general it’s a pain when trying to be taken seriously as a professional.

Florries · 26/09/2018 17:55

Good point Empress

Lolo ball

It's a stupid word.

NanooCov · 26/09/2018 18:00

No. Just no. I remember eurotrash and Lolo Ferrari.

madeoficecream · 26/09/2018 18:03

If you really like it could you not find a longer slightly more traditional name that could be shortened to Lolo?

Isolde
Lauren
Olivia
Lorelei
Coraline

HollyBollyBooBoo · 26/09/2018 18:07

@Florries share the rest of your list!!

pontiouspilates · 26/09/2018 18:33

We have male family
members called Manolo who are known as 'Lolo' I would go Lola for a girl.

Miladymilord · 26/09/2018 18:36

Isn't it what humbert humbert calls lolita?

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 26/09/2018 19:23

Pity you're not having twins. You could name her Hihi. Grin

LaDaronne · 26/09/2018 21:36

Yeah, slang for boobs / tits in French. Not good.
