For a boy I like Peter or Robin

And for a girl I love Emily or Annabelle. I like Annabelle most because it's quite versatile, I could shorten it to Anna, Annie, Bella or Belle. Probably Annie!

What do you think of these four names?

I'm not pregnant but I can dream Blush

not to keen on the boys names myself (sorry!) but i love both of the girls. Annabelle especially!

SausageSimon · 18/09/2018 18:35

Nobody ever likes my boys names Grin the only one I really liked that is a classic name I have used on DS, so now I'm stuck with my weird names for boys!

I love Robin for a boy (or girl), but think both of those girls names are overused now and find them quite boring, sorry. Prefer Annabelle to Emily though😊

Sunflower321 · 18/09/2018 18:37

I like Peter and Emily. Classic and elegant.

Annabelle is too frilly.

BlancheM · 18/09/2018 18:38

I have a Peter and an Annabel so I think you've chosen some of the best names ever 😂

SausageSimon · 18/09/2018 18:42

I love to hear other people's opinions on names!

I see what you mean about Annabelle being frilly, I'm always half and half with Emily. I love it because it's a classic name and reminds me of a teacher I had who is lovely, very naturally pretty and quirky. But then it also feels a little bland.

Clearly we have great taste Blanche Grin

I like both Peter and Robin (both are on my list! Wink).

I like Annie for a girl.

daisypond · 18/09/2018 19:03

Peter is loads better than Robin. It's a great name.
I like Annabel, but I am not keen on Annabelle - unless you're French and are going to pronounce it the French way. I'm not keen on Emily, personally.

Zazia · 18/09/2018 19:13

I like all your names. Congratulations :)

HJL2506 · 18/09/2018 19:44

I really like Robin!

MikeUniformMike · 18/09/2018 19:44

I like Peter very much but I also like Robin.
I'm not keen on Emily although it is very popular.
Annabel is OK, Annabelle isn't.
I like Ann, Anna and Annie - all are lovely and I would pick one of those not Annabel.

Peachbubble · 18/09/2018 19:57

I like Robin, but not Peter. Like both Emily and Annabelle.

pilates · 18/09/2018 20:11

I like your girls names but not the boys. They have a 70/80’s feel to them.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 18/09/2018 20:13

Love Peter.
I like Annabel, but this spelling.

3ChangingForNow · 18/09/2018 20:14

I like Peter a lot

SausageSimon · 18/09/2018 20:56

Definitely preferring the Annabel spelling, it seems more classy for some reason.
Do you think George and Annabel go?

I always hoped I'd have George, Peter and Emily

I'm really surprised people are saying they like Peter, not a single person in RL have said they like it Grin

EnriqueTheRingBearingLizard · 18/09/2018 21:02

Peter and Emily as in André?

Not keen on Peter as it always becomes Pete. Emily has been very, very used over the last 30 years.

SausageSimon · 18/09/2018 21:33

Peter and Emily Andre never crossed my mind as I'm not into celebrities I'm afraid!

OP posts:
EnriqueTheRingBearingLizard · 18/09/2018 21:35

I wouldn't say I was, not particularly, but their names associated together are very publicised.

SausageSimon · 18/09/2018 21:50

Hopefully nobody would make the connection in real life Grin

WendyTheWestie · 18/09/2018 22:22

Peter is a great name (and I have never heard of Emily Andre Confused)

veeboo · 18/09/2018 22:22

Robin for a girl is so much better than for a boy

finallychangedmyusername · 18/09/2018 22:34

I love Emily and Annabel (this spelling). Peter is fab (makes me think of Peter Rabbit and/or Peter Pan) and Robin is again great.

More2Fly · 18/09/2018 22:36

Love the girls names, and love Robin for a girl!
