Saw it in the name of a business today and quite liked the sound of it?
Tre is a cute nickname too

downinthejunglee · 23/08/2018 19:49

@Saymaname yep

pieceofpurplesky · 23/08/2018 19:53

With the twins Flip and Flop?

percheron67 · 23/08/2018 19:54

Makes me think of personal trainer.

ElizabethMainwaring · 23/08/2018 19:56

Traynor-Very ugly looking. Trainer- Very daft sounding.

BossWitch · 23/08/2018 19:57

Nope nope nope. Very silly idea. Sounds stupid, looks even worse.

LemonysSnicket · 23/08/2018 19:58

Is he a shoe?

MrsMolehillMountain · 23/08/2018 20:02

Middle name Nike?

ElizabethMainwaring · 23/08/2018 20:02

What about choosing a 'boy's name'? There are thousands out there.

ShellJar · 23/08/2018 20:14

Ok maybe not then Blush
We're really struggling to decide on a name if it turns out to be a boy and I think I'm getting to the desperate point

What about Trè?

needyourlovingtouch · 23/08/2018 20:14

Wasn't there a character on SATC called Trey?

SunnySomer · 23/08/2018 20:16

If you want it to sound like tray, you need the accent the other way (Tré) - otherwise it says treh.

GoatYoga · 23/08/2018 20:21

I think it’s fair to say we don’t share the same taste in names. There are thousands to choose from and you pick a type of shoe and something you carry food on.

Dani18 · 23/08/2018 20:23

Trey is nice. Or you can call him Trevor or Trenton with Tre as a nickname?

CorneliusCrackers · 23/08/2018 20:36

Trayvon?

NynaeveSedai · 23/08/2018 20:44

Don't use an accent if you don't know what they do. Trè isn't pronounced Tray.
Trainer Traynor is heinous.

downinthejunglee · 23/08/2018 21:01
Grin
whymewhyme · 23/08/2018 21:04

God I hope your joking

percheron67 · 23/08/2018 21:06

Trey is the aggressive stag in Farthing Wood!!

MikeUniformMike · 23/08/2018 21:17

Trè doesn't work. Trey does.

WaitroseCoffeeCostaCup · 23/08/2018 21:21

Trey is nice. Traynor...now people have said trainer I hear nothing else. Sorry Blush

AntiHop · 23/08/2018 21:21

I thought that trey was traditionally given to the third born son?

WaitroseCoffeeCostaCup · 23/08/2018 21:21

Troy?

choli · 23/08/2018 21:26

Traynor is a family surname in my family. I would use it, but I know many people hate the surname as forename thing. If it was good enough for Emily Bronte it is good enough for me Smile

Inniu · 23/08/2018 21:26

It is an Irish surname meaning “strong man”. Very common as a surname in my home town.

I have never heard it as a first name.
