Saw it in the name of a business today and quite liked the sound of it?
Tre is a cute nickname too

Glad you've been dissuaded

Aprilshowersinaugust · 23/08/2018 21:27

How about Plimpsol??
Plim for nn!!

Hayles88 · 23/08/2018 21:28

Worst name suggestion I've ever, in 10 years, seen on here.

Itchytights · 23/08/2018 21:30

GrinGrinGrin
Absolutely ridiculous

gizmomagee · 23/08/2018 21:31

Not treynor but Tre or Troy are nice.

BettyBooJustDoinTheDoo · 23/08/2018 21:32

How about Sneaker? (This is not a serious suggestion)

buttercup54321 · 23/08/2018 21:34

Trey. Terry Troy. Thomas

mathanxiety · 23/08/2018 21:34

Tray is not too bad. Don't use Tre with the accent. That is daft.

Traynor is awful. I know a whole family of them.

It's really hard to narrow down just a few from thousands of names.
What other names have you had an interest in?

mammmamia · 23/08/2018 21:34

What is with the crazy baby names on here today? Sorry OP it’s awful Grin

mathanxiety · 23/08/2018 21:35

Not Tray - Trey

OoohSmooch · 23/08/2018 21:44

Oh my goodness.....just no.

CorneliusCrackers · 23/08/2018 21:48

@choli - how was it good enough for Emily bronte?

Her babe is Emily. She had to use a male name to get published at the time, so picked an odd name as a nod to that. She’s now known by her proper, female name as society is now able to acknowledge female talent.

Giving your kid a surname as a first name is in no way a nod to Emily Bronte

choli · 23/08/2018 21:52

She used Linton as the forename for the son of Isabella Linton and Heathcliff in Wuthering Heights.

Honeybee79 · 23/08/2018 21:54

No. Just no.

NannyR · 23/08/2018 21:55

Tre would be a great name for when he goes to the pub with his mates and buys a round "the drinks are on me!"

Ihuntmonsters · 23/08/2018 22:27

My dd had to sit next to a Trey at primary school. Trey was very badly behaved and his parents were problematic too (sometimes we caught the bus with Trey and a lot of swearing and hitting went on). Traynor known as Tre would just make me think Hmm Sorry OP I think you'd really not be advantaging your son with a name like that. Trevor would be much more neutral (if very unfashionable)

Subla2401 · 23/08/2018 23:53

What about Dre?

Rebecca36 · 24/08/2018 00:51

Makes me think of shoes - trainers.

Why choose such a bizarre name?

OutPinked · 24/08/2018 06:22

Just makes me think of trainers 🤷🏻‍♀️

Goostacean · 24/08/2018 11:21

It’s a “no” from me...

@NannyR that made me smile Grin

Dljlr · 24/08/2018 11:36

Don't worry op. When I was pregnant I suggested both Creosote and Hiccup as names, perfectly seriously, to my then DH. I was very wounded when he didn't like them. I think panic + hormones can do strange things when it comes to name selection.

PassportBridgetPants · 24/08/2018 23:41

Dude. No.

Icklepup · 26/08/2018 12:41

Trey

Topseyt · 26/08/2018 18:23

I would only hear it as trainer.

Are you about to give birth to a shoe?

Shadow1234 · 08/09/2018 19:39

Tre is a lovely name.

Also like dre (pronounced dray)
Shay
Kai

Traynor does sound like something u put on your foot though.
