How did you narrow down your name list

Hi
We are having a baby girl soon and we have made a list of all the favourite names. The problem is we have 30 altogether and know idea how to narrow them down.

How did everyone narrow down there lists.

Clara
Esme
or try the name test
"Is Clara coming out to play?"
"I love you Clara"
"Is Clara ready for promotion?"

My husband and i had very different tastes on names, so
What we did, was both made a list each, and then found a
Shorter list of the names we both liked the most. (Probably
3 each). We then comprised, by way of me picking first name
And he got to pick middle name! Lol. My hubby is so sweet
And easy going. I mean, there was no way i was having whanita
For my daughters name, or timothy for my boy.
