Ditch the double barrel idea it’s so naff.

What kind of names do you like?

WhatsYourFuckingProblem · 18/08/2018 18:46

Double-barrel effectively means you’ll be calling 4 names out every time in the park.
“Monique-Shaniqua, Tallulah-Delilah, home time!”

Do you like classic or modern? Popular or unusual?

MikeUniformMike · 18/08/2018 18:46

Trinity-Mae and Destiny-Rae

MikeUniformMike · 18/08/2018 18:47

Samantha-Joy and Ella-May

WhatsYourFuckingProblem · 18/08/2018 18:47

@MikeUniformMike The hunt for the perfect twin names is over thanks to you Grin

MikeUniformMike · 18/08/2018 18:48

Milly and Molly
Milly and Tilly
Amelia and Emilia

MikeUniformMike · 18/08/2018 18:51

Thank you!
Kate and Emma

JessFreddie12 · 18/08/2018 18:51

I like names that are very unique and uncommmon, I hate popural names like Jessica, Sophie etc just think they are to common and would like something different.

Cassiopeia and Andromeda?

TatianaLarina · 18/08/2018 18:55

Artemis and Demeter, Hero and Leto, Phoebe and Aurora, Violet and Iris, Beatrice and Gwendolen.

MikeUniformMike · 18/08/2018 18:56

I really like Jessica and Sophie. Your DCs will probably be called Twin of FirstnameTwin.

WhatsYourFuckingProblem · 18/08/2018 18:58

I don’t like popular names either really, none of my DCs names are in Top 100. Names I’d consider:

Asa
Luke (prob top 100 but I actually don’t know anyone under 18 called Luke)
Blake
Sasha
Sadie
Jaime (girl)
Jamie (boy)

SleepyMcEdie · 18/08/2018 19:00

What are you boys names so we can think of something similar?

LynetteScavo · 18/08/2018 19:01

"Very unique" and double barrelled. And you don't know the sex.

OK...Aubrey-Lee and Ashley-Jay.

Job done.

pouraglasshalffull · 18/08/2018 19:04

If your going with double-barrel names I'd keep the second part really short such as Ray, Rose, May, Joy etc

First name options:
Ottilie and Evelyn
Luna and Fleur
Flora and Delilah
Willow and Beatrix
Hazel and Olive
Edie and Maisie
Etta and Nora
Juniper and Iris

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 18/08/2018 19:05

Courtney Aisha
Britney Jade

MikeUniformMike · 18/08/2018 19:06

Juniper and Cassidy

MikeUniformMike · 18/08/2018 19:08

There is the risk of choosing an unusual, slightly out there only to find that it has suddenly become very popular, or that someone else will copy you.

JessFreddie12 · 18/08/2018 19:15

I love Aubrey other half hates it.. I do like some of the names that people have said so I’ll throw some at my partner later and see what he think, just wanted to see if anyone had anything abit different from what you hear or read all the time
