What do you think of...

Delphi
Mabli
Clover
Sunday
Tuesday
Ishbel
Anouk

... and what other similar names would you suggest for us? (I realise that the day names especially are pretty out there and would only be used if born on that day, and probably only as a middle name).

Don’t hold back! Grin

Delphi - quite like it, it's pretty
Mabli - too much like a misspelling of Mabel
Clover - meh
Sunday - not a fan but I do love Sunny as a nn
Tuesday - don't like it, doesn't sound name-y
Ishbel - love it
Anouk - meh

How about...
Sybil
Isolde
Krista
Lyra
Zinnia
Olwen
Livi

I love Ishbel. Also Elspeth.
Much cooler that Isobel and Elizabeth.

I also know a baby Astrid and think that it is becoming increasingly popular (quite rightly as it is also gorgeous).

Jeanclaudejackety · 09/08/2018 00:15

Ooh also Ferne, Ariadne, Silva or Silvia, Romy, Wren

KitchenDancefloor · 09/08/2018 00:19

I don't like Manon. I wouldn't know how to pronounce it (English or French accent?) and it is too similar to mammon.
Sorry to be harsh, but that was the only name mentioned so far that was a hard NO.

Jeanclaudejackety · 09/08/2018 00:19

Ingrid, Verity, Avalon, Yvaine

ReginaBlitzkreig · 09/08/2018 00:27

I only like the last two.
what about:

Daphne
Griselda/Griselle
Niobe
Undine
Rhea
Dahlia
Clarice
Thetis
Calypso
Ione

LoveInTokyo · 09/08/2018 08:07

I don't really like them but I love Delphine.

Zoflorabore · 09/08/2018 08:08

Our cat is called Sunday. It's a cracking name.

Not if she's born on a Wednesday though...

TatianaLarina · 09/08/2018 09:32

Manon is nothing like mammon - you don’t pronounce the n.

TurquoiseWeekend · 09/08/2018 09:59

I like Clover. Not a fan of Anouk but I love Anoushka.

KitchenDancefloor · 09/08/2018 21:51

Manon is nothing like mammon - you don’t pronounce the n.

So it's pronounced Mao then? Wink

allthegoodusernameshavegone · 09/08/2018 21:53

Nope all awful, what about Jane or Sue

Enko · 09/08/2018 21:58

Delphi I work with a Delphi she is adorable so this gets a high vote from me
Clover Cute and individual
Anouk My favourite I adore the name

Quite like Sunday and Tuesday

not keen on
Mabli reminds me of the shop chain Maplin too much
Ishbel Its too similar to Isobel type names and to me they are a bit overdone.

Glumglowworm · 09/08/2018 22:10

I like Mabli and Anouk

I live in (a not very welsh part of) wales and don’t know any Mabli

I only know one Anouk, she was Noo noo when she was little which was cute, but Anouk is a name for any age I think. I like it.

moredoll · 09/08/2018 23:17

Ishbel

KERALA1 · 09/08/2018 23:23

I like them all except the days of the week - a teenagers choice and unfair on the child

kenandbarbie · 10/08/2018 05:24

I like Mabli if you're welsh. Other than that not keen on any sorry.
