Names I'm thinking of...

Lydia

Athena (MN seem to think poster shop, but I'm too young to know about it and my DMum doesn't remember)

Amanda

Alison

Alice (not sure if too similar to 'a lice')

Delaney (too surnamey?)

Dora

Alexandra

Freya (reminds you of fraying a thread? Perhaps she will go round the party and ruin everyone's dress?)

What's your favourite from my list?

Delaney too surnamey

I love Lydia but that now has connotations due to Lydia being the baddy on Handmaids Tale

Love Alice, but you will be inundated with Alice In Wonderland themes

Alexandra will become Alex or Lexi but if you are ok with that fine

Love Freya

Alexandra and Alice. Both beautiful names!

MrStarkIDontFeelSoGood · 03/08/2018 20:54

Alison and Amanda too dated

Absolute No to Dora

Lydia is lovely, and both Alice and Alison.

Alexandra, Amanda and Dora are nice too.

Delaney- you are right, it has a nice sound, but too surnamey.

Athena is fine, Freya is meh.

Alice and Freya are lovely! Not big on Amanda (Amanda Holden annoying me is a factor in this) and Athena

Racecardriver · 07/08/2018 17:43

I like Freya best.

Lydia-stupid sister from O&P
Athena-goddrss
Amanda-bynes
Alison-burgers
Alice--go ask Alice
Delaney-american
Dora-sex crazed coughing girl from Frued.
Alexandre-dead tzarina
Freya-goddess

I love Lydia but I sadly cannot use it, so Lydia gets my vote Grin

I also really Athena and Alison (yes old-fashioned but I still like it!)

Lydia and Alexandra are my favourites
