Esther
Charlotte (known as Lottie)
Rowena (known as Nina)
Rose
Mary
Alice

Possible nickname for Esther would be Essie but more of an occasional nickname, as opposed to the others which will be more everyday nicknames if that makes sense.

Mary.

Greeneyedgeek83 · 14/07/2018 22:27

Rose followed by Esther

Icklepup · 14/07/2018 22:30

Alice!

VinoBlancoPorFavor · 14/07/2018 22:32

Dislike Esther
Can’t stand Mary

My friend had a baby called Mary and is now pregnant with a boy
Guess what she’s naming him 🙄

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 14/07/2018 22:33

Esther just makes me think of Esther Mcvey

TrotEsio · 14/07/2018 22:33

Joesph? @VinoBlancoPorFavor

DramaAlpaca · 14/07/2018 22:35

I don't really like Esther, and though I like Rowena I think it's a bit of a stretch to get the nickname Nina from it.

I like the rest of the list very much.

Anotherdayanotherdollar · 14/07/2018 22:35

I love Nina. Don't like Rowena though. I like Charlotte, but not lottie. Alice I suppose

TroubledLichen · 14/07/2018 22:36

In order of preference:
Alice - love this
Charlotte - also lovely
Rose - nice
Esther - ok, not to my tastes
Mary - boring
Rowena - hate it

autumndreaming · 14/07/2018 22:40

I thought Nina was pretty way to get to from Rowena! Good to hear thoughts though Smile

Alice, Charlotte and Rose. I personally don't like the others.

autumndreaming · 14/07/2018 22:41

Sorry *easy

Alice is by far the nicest imo.

CaviarAndCigarettes · 14/07/2018 22:50

Alice. 100%
As the parent of an Alice i would also like to assure you that we have never had a "who the fuck is Alice" comment! It was a concern for me when we chose the name.
Three years later we still consider her our best named child 😂

IndominousRex · 14/07/2018 23:03

Nina is a perfectly good name in its own right

MollyHuaCha · 14/07/2018 23:58
  1. Rose
  2. Esther
  3. Mary
  4. Charlotte (known as Lottie)
  5. Alice
  6. Rowena - but not with Nina
VinoBlancoPorFavor · 15/07/2018 00:09

@TrotEsio

Yes!!!!!!
Hope my face didn’t give me away when she told me 🙈

Sophronia · 15/07/2018 02:19

Esther, Rowena, Rose or Maray.

LadyGAgain · 15/07/2018 03:14

Mary
Alice
But Nina without Rowena. Rowena is not pretty. Nina is.

LadyGAgain · 15/07/2018 03:15

Oh and Rose is classically beautiful

Littlebird88 · 15/07/2018 03:36

Alice

as.a.side.note to the Mary and Joseph siblings. I know a pair of siblings.... Olivia and a baby Oliver.
is it just me!???

MadMaryBoddington · 15/07/2018 07:47

Esther

SheldonandPenny · 15/07/2018 07:50

Esther or Nina will be less common. I like Mary too. Alice is lovely but there's lots of them. I don't like Rowena at all.

Cherubfish · 15/07/2018 07:56

My favourites are Esther, Alice and Rose (in that order).

Addy2 · 15/07/2018 08:01

Alice is best. Where I come from, Mary is an alternative name for a certain part of the female anatomy. The rest are fine. I like Charlotte, if you don't mind people thinking you copied Wills and Kate.
