Grace is lovely

LadyGAgain · 09/07/2018 22:33

Both are beautiful. Grace is very popular but timeless. I'd go with April as it needs a rebirth.

DontDribbleOnTheCarpet · 09/07/2018 22:33

Avoid month names if the child wasn't born in that month. Trust me, I spent the first 12 years of my life explaining that my name and my birth month were not the same.
I do love Grace though.

Aprilshouldhavebeenmyname · 09/07/2018 22:33

April obviously!
Grin

imsorryiasked · 09/07/2018 22:33

I like both, not sure what April would get shortened to apart from Ape though Sad

Jellylover · 09/07/2018 22:34

Definitely April. There are gazillions of Graces around.

Onceuponatimethen · 09/07/2018 22:35

April is beautiful but I wouldn’t do it if she isn’t an April baby. I know a birth month child who spends a LOT of time saying no she wasn’t born in the month!

Grace is nice but I know a lot of them, so if that bothers you find something else.

DramaAlpaca · 09/07/2018 22:35

I'm not mad on either but if I had to pick it would be Grace.

WonderfulWorldBeautifulPeople · 09/07/2018 22:36

Both lovely names. Pick whichever YOU prefer.

If it were me I would go for April simply because Grace is very common at the moment.

Ihuntmonsters · 09/07/2018 22:39

I know a September. I can't remember if she was born in September but I expect I asked her :)

I'd choose April over Grace I think just because she'll likely be the only one where a Grace might one of a few.

Pompom42 · 09/07/2018 22:39

Grace is far too popular. I work with children and there's 8 in one class alone.
I wouldn't go with April personally unless the baby is born that month.

upsydaisydah · 09/07/2018 22:43

I really like both. Grace is popular but I’ve definifely noticed a decrease in baby Grace’s as opposed to maybe five or six years ago. I love the name Grace.

April is really pretty, and less common, but she will get the “is your birthday in April then?” comments.

RavenWings · 09/07/2018 22:44

April is lovely. Grace is bland and overused imo.

bridgetreilly · 09/07/2018 22:46

Not a huge fan of either, sorry.

carebea · 09/07/2018 23:02

Grace we have a Gracie 😁

HeyDolly · 10/07/2018 02:23

Neither.

April is lovely but only if born in that month as PP have said.

Grace has been so overused that it’s now just dull, bland and unorginal. Shame, as it was once a nice name.

Peachbubble · 10/07/2018 06:43

April, love it

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 10/07/2018 08:45

April, so pretty !

NC4Now · 10/07/2018 08:47

April if she’s born in April. If not, Grace or another name entirely.

Lycanthropology · 10/07/2018 09:26

Doubt your baby is/was born in April as it's a bit too early (or late)!

Grace is all over the place now and dull as

WonderfulWorldBeautifulPeople · 10/07/2018 10:23

I know a couple or Aprils by the way and have never thought to ask whether they were born in april. I also know a lady called June and never thought to ask her either. Just never crossed my mind.

I have a friend called Noelle who was born in February also!

MikeUniformMike · 10/07/2018 13:41

April for a baby not born in April is a bit silly.
Grace is too popular

LastOneDancing · 10/07/2018 13:47

Both lovely names.

I really like April - I knew a grown up one & a toddler one and their birth month never crossed my mind.

LostwithSawyer · 10/07/2018 16:30

Love April.
Grace is boring

firsttime17 · 10/07/2018 16:34

Both lovely names but I prefer Grace, it's classic and you don't hear it too often from where I amSmile pretty and girly x
