I'm due in just over a month, most days DP & I discuss baby names and make no progress whatsoever. He's rubbish at suggesting but quick to say no to the majority of my suggestions.

I like a list of about 10 names, he's vetoed them all bar 2. I'm not really fond on these either.

The two names that haven't been vetoed are
Miles
Victor

I need a timeless name, that's not common now, but not too "unusual". Something your granddad might have been called.

This is probably my 3rd/4th baby name thread Blush

Time is ticking and I'm afraid my poor little man won't have a name!

Grandad names from friends and family -

Basil
Edward
Ray
Thomas
David
John
Władysław - if you're feeling very brave and polish

Looking at that list I doubt any of those fit your style! But you never know....
I know a baby who was registered the day before the final day time limit, you know, before the council step in and name them for you! It's a hard decision sometimes.

My grandfathers were Stanislaw (well, you did say uncommon!) and George.

George's brothers are Edward and Duncan.

I personally like Atticus and Ambrose as old-fashioned boys names.

Andrew, Benjamin or Nicholas.

All good and strong names.

Pick your three favourites and draw straws so you can move on.

We named our DS within days of a 20wk scan and didn't waver as he became 'Ben' to us.
