Harry vs William?

Really want a classic boys name. Which of the two do you prefer?

I slightly prefer Harry, but with Henry on the birth certificate.

William. DS2 middle name.

Harry/Henry has been a bit overused for a while now imo.

Which goes better with your surname?

Both go pretty well with our surname. Middle name possibly Tomos

Will-ee-am or Will-yum? Not trying to be dificult but this question was raised just recently. Shortened to Will (y) Bill (y) ?

William is a more 'full' rounded name. Also Will and Bill are awesome nicknames. William is insanely popular though, and that to me is its downside,

Harry sounds fun and adventurous. You have the Harry Potter association also which is fun. However Harry isn't really a name in its own right. I'd go with Henry on bc, or call him Harry.

Harry. I think it has escaped the nickname thing in a way that Ollie for example hasn't.

I don't like William.

Love both. Classic. If I had to choose it would be William (“Will-yum”)

William. Much more classic. Harry is too closely linked to Potter now IMO.
