Okay, here's a riddle for you:

There are types of spiders and types of trees,
There are types of moon, one of which is me,
My first fancies Elizabeth if not too shallow,
My second is found in bats as well as in sparrows.

Next clue: A timid merchant will almost get you utopia.

Not Luna, although know why. When I did the clues I was expecting someone to suggest that.

Nope but getting closer.

Portia?

I'm feeling pretty optimistic.... the timid merchant is Shylock in Merchant of Venice, Portia is a type of jumping spider (gah!), Portia moon of Uranus, Portia in Merchant of Venice being based on Queen Elizabeth, almost utopia - Portia is almost an anagram of utopia. Not sure about the bats and sparrows though!

The first part refers to Port(s) which fancies (HMS) Elizabeth if not too shallow (re the sea). The second is the "ah" sound found in the words bats and sparrows.

And yep shy and merchant are clues to Merchant of Venice and utopia is almost an anagram
