But Imogen was by far the nicest, pity your husband won't have it.

SheGotBetteDavisEyes · 15/05/2018 01:57

Nancy is the perfect name! I've loved it for years. Merryn second. Then Edith or Emmeline.

Lily is alright. I have an irrational dislike of Molly.

BikeRunSki · 15/05/2018 02:03

Merryn, absolutely.

One of my very best friends ever is called Merryn, it can only have happy associations for me. And it’s a lovely name!0

jollyhollygolightly · 15/05/2018 05:29

Emmeline nn Emmie is gorgeous! Definitely my favourite. Also like Lily and Molly.

Hate Nancy, Merryn and Edith though... wayyy too granny inspired. Just awful.

Lifeaback · 15/05/2018 05:51

Love Edith (biased as it's DD1's name!) and also really like emmeline and Nancy.

Not a fan of lily or merryn

17caterpillars1mouse · 15/05/2018 06:07

I really like Emmeline and

Molly and Merryn are ok. Nice enough

Not a fan of Lily as it's so overused. Really dislike Nancy

Littlemum2be86 · 15/05/2018 06:37

Love Nancy!! Think Sylvie is super pretty too as a suggestion.

How would you pronounce Emmeline? Emme-lean or Emme-line?

Babbaganoush · 15/05/2018 07:21

We'd pronounce it 'Emme-lean'. Nn would definitely be Emmy.

So interesting to see everyone's opinions...thanks all!

redmini4 · 15/05/2018 12:12

Merryn is my favourite.

LiviaAD · 15/05/2018 13:06

Merryn is such a pretty name, I wish I had been aware of it years ago.

chezmk1988 · 15/05/2018 14:32

Emmeline or Edith
