So I have a Caoimhe (keeva, we are in Ulster so correct pronunciation for here), looking girls names, what should I be shortlisting!

Open to all ideas.

So far on my list is Fiadh but dh is not fussed

We had previously short listed Laoise but not sure if I love it anymore.

Geez, leave some vowels for someone else.

(Points if you got the Vicar of Diblet reference.)

math what’s the pronunciation of Eavan? It looks lovely.

SpacePenguin · 04/05/2018 23:51

Personally, I wouldn't choose another name with a 'v' sound, and I'd prefer not to have a rhyming ending.

Doireann
Emer
Muireann
Noirín
Eileen
Cait
Mairead

(missing loads of fadas! )

@gwen25 how do you pronounce Bébhinn - it was one of my short list as well but they I heard an alternative pronunciation which I didn't like.

Thanks everyone, there are some there that I can add to my list, still nothing really jumping out at me like how much I love Caoimhe
