Girl names, need help deciding

We can't choose between:

Polly, Alice, Mabel and Clara.

I think I've fallen a little bit in love with Polly. So it's a very strong contender as you don't hear it very often either.

Polly.

Alice

I like Clara best.

Polly

Polly is lovely. I only know one and she's in her 50's

I like Alice best although it's very popular at the moment.

To me Polly is one of those names that is cute on 0-6 year olds but not so good for an adult. Could you put a longer name on the birth certificate and uae Polly as her day to day name? Just gives her options when she's older.

Mabel.

Imagine her a 35 year old woman. What name suits her best?

Or Clare rather than Clara? Less fussy and less common.

Polly and Clara are lovely names!

And Polly can be used on an adult as well.. hasn't anyone seen peaky blinders 😂

Mabel is terrible.

Will the wee one have a middle name?

Say the name followed by that (if she will have one) and your surname = can it be corrupted or made fun of?

I have an Alice and there was no competition when she was born. It was only ever Alice. Incidentally, she's Alice Mabel :)

BUT - I just adore Polly. Such a sweet, unusual name which is equally good from baby to adult.

I know two, aged 26 and 60 both amazing and very talented ladies!

My own favourite is Alice.

I like all those names but Polly would be my favourite.

I like Clara the best, with Alice as a close second. Not a fan of polly and Mabel is okay but getting very popular where I live so that's tainted my view a little

Alice or Clara for me. Probably Alice of the two.

I'm not a fan of Polly, reminds me of parrots and it's a bit wet and childish imo.
