Our surname is Hillier-Baker. Which one do you all think sounds better? We’re really stuck 🙈

I like Jacob or Lewis best x

AdaColeman · 18/04/2018 23:07

Lewis is my favourite.

Harvey second.

Jacob is already very popular, and not keen on Leo or Owen.

Petalflowers · 18/04/2018 23:07

I read that as Harvey Lee Oswald!

I like all the names.

Sophronia · 18/04/2018 23:48

Leo is hardest to say with Hillier , also very trendy at the moment. I prefer. I love Jacob.

Harvey - I wouldn't go with this name. I just associate it with Harvey Weinstein now. I think lots of people would do too as that name has come to epitomise that kind of misogynistic, controlling, intimidating man.

Lewis - Like this name. It is gentle, but also playful and fun. Lew/luey are nice nicknames too.

Leo - A bit too trendy, I'd worry this name may become dated over the next few years.

Jacob - Nice name, and Jake is a cute nickname. But it's a bit boring.

Owen - I really like this name, again I think it's gentle but also fun. However I'd be frustrated at the lack of nicknames for Owen.

Jacob

IVflytrap · 19/04/2018 07:58

Owen goes the best, in my opinion, followed by Lewis. There aren't any repeated sounds in the whole name like there would be with Harvey, Leo or Jacob.

Lewis and Jacob are my favourite. Jacob maybe a bit over used. I also really like Owen.

I think Leo is definitely too popular and over used. Not a fan of Harvey.

Padfoot100 · 19/04/2018 11:21

Forgot to add, I think Jacob goes best with your surname

KeefBurtain · 19/04/2018 15:20

Owen is lovely and goes best with your surname.

LoveInTokyo · 19/04/2018 15:34

Leo, Jacob or Owen

TatianaLarina · 19/04/2018 18:44

Jacob or Leo - altho the latter is massively overpopular.
