Really would like 'Luke' as a middle name. Our surname is 2 syllables if that helps! I can't seem to find anything!

I think that Luca is lovely but perhaps not traditional enough.

Sebastian Luke, Oliver Luke, Christopher Luke, Barnaby Luke.

You are welcome, I love traditional names too. Ds has a traditional name and I think it’s really endearing. The way I look at it is there aren’t many babies called these names today so traditional names will be unique and stand out from all of the more modern names used for babies that are used a lot.

I think practically any name goes with a classic like Luke, except perhaps other names with a lot of Ls in.

Warm? Just kidding...
I like Luke. As a middle name I like the suggestions:

Christopher Luke
Ezra Luke

I think Luke is a lovely name, as a middle of first. I don't think it's 'boring' at all.

Benjamin Luke
Elijah Luke
Harrison Luke
Joshua Luke
William Luke
I think 3 syllables is a good idea, although someone suggested Edward Luke which works well too

hairymorag · 21/04/2018 08:27

We have a Luke over here. His middle name is Edward after his grandfather.....would have preferred skywalker...Grin Henry Luke, Edward Luke, Robert Luke,

AvonCallingBarksdale · 21/04/2018 09:22

Just coming back to say loving all the positive Luke comments. I was a bit SadHmm at the “boring” comment. My Luke loves his name Smile

Attie17 · 21/04/2018 10:32

I think Luke is a lovely, strong name. It’s traditional but not overly popular. I love the suggestion of Luke Alexander, if you go for it as a first name. Edward Luke is also great. And it’s nice that your son will have a link to his uncle.
