or are my weird pregnancy hormones clouding my usually perfect judgement??

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Don’t do it!

Greenhouseonthehill · 10/04/2018 13:17

Not keen.

BevBrook · 10/04/2018 13:18

I wouldn’t personally. She’ll have people thinking her name is Brenda all her life. But if you really like it, go for it!

PellyBay · 10/04/2018 13:18

Sounds like Brenda in an embarrased mumble. Sorry.

IsabelleSE19 · 10/04/2018 13:19

Brenda?

LoveInTokyo · 10/04/2018 13:20

Yeah, people who read it will not know if she’s a girl or a boy (but probably guess boy) and people who hear it will probably think you said Brenda and think, oh, that’s retro...and not in a good way.

AnyaMoondial · 10/04/2018 13:23

Brenda is a terrific name though!

Emily7708 · 10/04/2018 13:23

There’s a drama on at the moment called Come Home and one of the main characters is a nut job called Brenna. I think it’s a popular Irish name, don’t really like it though.

PinkAvocado · 10/04/2018 13:25

I know a Brenna. It’s never shortened and it suits her.

I like it

fleshmarketclose · 10/04/2018 13:28

No don't, it's your hormones, you will be embarrassed at the notion once baby is here. There is always Brianna if you really must though.

Adarajames · 10/04/2018 13:31

I know a couple of people named Brenna, doesn't look right spelt as you have though, looks more male that way

ChocolateCrunch · 10/04/2018 14:16

Brenna or Brianna

mamahanji · 10/04/2018 15:30

Brenna yes

Brenner no

DullAndOld · 10/04/2018 15:31

Brenna? Sounds like a drunk person saying 'Brenda'.

How about Brianna or indeed Brenda?

GaucheCaviar · 10/04/2018 15:51

It means burner in German, so it's a big fat no from me.

PretABoire · 10/04/2018 15:55

.....Bruce Jenner?

GottaGetThisDone · 10/04/2018 16:08

Brenna is lovely, and looks feminine as opposed to Brenner which to me looks male

Brenner... Isn't that when you have breakfast for dinner? Like in Scrubs? Grin

redexpat · 10/04/2018 16:14

I thought it was a jewish surname meaning something like brewer of beer.

Sophronia · 10/04/2018 18:27

Brenna is better

peeriebear · 10/04/2018 18:30

Wasn't that the crooked screw in Bad Girls?

Theimpossiblegirl · 10/04/2018 18:31

Brenna is lovely. Brenner is not so much.
