I like hope think zoe is boring and I know a few and their boring not nice people. Never heard of lyra seems abit bizzare and reminds me of lycra but suppose family members would get used to it x

SprogletsMum · 01/04/2018 01:10

Definitely Lyra it's a gorgeous name, I wanted to use it from when I read the books but dp didn't like it.

DramaAlpaca · 01/04/2018 01:11

All lovely names. I'd choose Zoe.

windchimesabotage · 01/04/2018 01:13

Lyra is beautiful id go with that personally!

stellinaa · 01/04/2018 01:23

All gorgeous names but I think Zoe would fit the best, much prefer the spelling Zoey though personally. Hope seems a little plain/common relative to your other kids names imo.

Shipshapeit · 01/04/2018 01:30

Zoe is lovely.
Hope is ok.
Don’t like Lyra at all. Sounds like headloce cream.

PinkCrystal · 01/04/2018 02:11

Hope and Zoe both lovely

Thebirthdayparty · 01/04/2018 02:15

Hope is really nice. Zoe too. I’m not a fan of Lyra.

AnyaMoondial · 01/04/2018 02:26

I can see why you're stuck! All really lovely but in very different ways.

Hope is my favourite.

Sophronia · 01/04/2018 03:30

Zoe

Zwan · 01/04/2018 03:49

I love Lyra but it's a mouthful with Yvonne... Hope is sweet and goes well. I feel Zoe is a bit popular now.

Others to consider: Zelda, Camilla, Summer.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 01/04/2018 06:41

Zoe Yvonne.

disappearingninepatch · 01/04/2018 07:46

Like Lyra, prefer Lyria. I know a lovely lady with this name.

NotAgainYoda · 01/04/2018 08:14

Lyra or Hope

MaryPoppinsStoleMyHandbag · 01/04/2018 08:16

Hope is the only name I like from your list. Congrats on your new DD!

17caterpillars1mouse · 01/04/2018 08:46

Lyra or Zoey

Dislike Hope

Icklepickle101 · 01/04/2018 08:49

I’m a Zoe and I hate it. Lyra is pretty

Littlemum2be86 · 01/04/2018 09:13

I like Lyra. I have never heard it before but I think it’s pretty. And wouldn’t be common

FusRoDah · 01/04/2018 11:07

Zoe is my favourite but is a bit clunky with Yvonne. I'm not a fan of Lyra at all. Hope is quite nice and goes the best with Yvonne of the three.

duckponds · 01/04/2018 11:16

Is Lyra a made up name? I want to like it as I usually like those sort of L names but it just doesn't feel like a real name!

Aprilmightmemynewname · 01/04/2018 11:18

Lycra is what I read!!
Zoe means life so its a yes from me!!

stellinaa · 01/04/2018 11:21

To be honest, if she was meant to be one of those three names you would know by now. Who does she look like to you? Deep down you'll know, maybe consider some different names if you really can't decide

mondler · 01/04/2018 11:57

Congrats OP!

I love Zoe and Hope and think they are both very pretty and go well. I'm afraid with Lyra I'm another one that just reads Lycra!

If neither feel quite right are there any similar ones you like that may suit her? Like Faith, Grace, Fern, Zara, Philippa?

I hope you decide on a name soon and are enjoying your DD.

fearfultrill · 01/04/2018 12:06

Lyra! @duckponds there's a Lyra in the His Dark Materials series

daisypond · 01/04/2018 12:19

Lyra is so much a name from Philip Pullman it would put me off, even though she's an amazing heroine. I think it's meant to sound like lyre/liar, etc, for metaphorical reasons, so maybe think if that's an association you're happy with. I love Zoe and Hope, and I don't think either is boring. I know one of each, only, and they're both adults.
