Alice, Eleanor or Abigail

Can you give me your preference from Alice, Eleanor or Abigail.We had picked Alice but everyone we have told seem to hate it.

I think Alice is a lovely name and prefer it to the others.

I have an Alice and I still really love the name. Although that said I don’t hate the other two either! Go with your gut- you and baby are the ones who will have to use the name day in and day out. You need to love it!

They’re all lovely, Alice is more difficult to shorten though. Abigail will be an Abi before long unless you (and her) stick to your guns and Eleanor has lots of possibilities for nicknames (Ellie, Nelly).

I like all the names though prefer Eleanore to Eleanor

If you love Alice though go for it regardless of what others think. Many many people love it too

I'd personally avoid Eleanor unless your going for nn Norah and Ellie and Ella has been done to death lately

I like Abigail and Abby. Classic but not used alot atm

Eleanor is a very beautiful and elegant name.

Abigail is a lovely traditional name but has the advantage of being a little more unusual now.

Alice is nice but it is very popular.

Others are nice but will be shortened to Ellie/Abbie whether you like it or not.

There are a lot of of Ellies around.
Abigail is nice, Abby, ok.
Alice is great.

Alice is lovely, but is tipped to be the name of William & Kate's baby should it be a girl, so may take off in popularity if that matters to you!
