Flynn & Phoebe are my favourite from your list.

TheImprobableGirl · 26/03/2018 18:56

Thanks! I love Flynn but there’s a particularly pain-in-the-arse sort of boy in my eldests class which puts me off slightly... glad to know there are other fans though!

Christopher and Mariella are nice too.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 26/03/2018 19:23

I like Zach, Kit, Toby, Dylan

Indigo, isadora, mariella. I think Mariella is really pretty when it’s spoken.

chocolatesun · 26/03/2018 19:24

I’d steer clear of Alexa because of Amazon Alexa!

I like Jasmine and Finn

Shout through the house to each other as if you were calling the child for dinner... what sounds right?

AlexisColbysFANCYfrock · 26/03/2018 19:28

Miles ...and Alexis (obvs) Grin

DuggeeHugs · 26/03/2018 19:28

Hugo and Phoebe

TheImprobableGirl · 26/03/2018 19:33

Miles does sound right.... very helpful!! Adding to the list isn’t not helpful Wink luckily Max is a family name already, but definitely a contender if not. I might knock Christopher on the head because although I do love Kit- it’s a bit Rooney for me.

I know I can’t Have Alexa now... but it was a front runner before, it goes well with surname. Middle name will possibly be Mariella as I have an Isabella too which I think is too similar. Isidora does look better, you’re right but same problem.

Cutting it down already!

I have a Bella and a Poppy already (both children, not dogs Grin)

TheImprobableGirl · 26/03/2018 19:34

Oh I love Hugo too! Maybe a middle name, or Felix- god this is hard

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 26/03/2018 19:34

Flynn, Dylan, Jasmine and Matilda.

chezmk1988 · 26/03/2018 19:45

Boys I like Isaac, Christopher and Gabriel best and for the girls Ivy, Jasmine and mariella

MikeUniformMike · 26/03/2018 20:09

Myles/Miles - Miles is great
Dylan - awful
Zach - prefer Zac
Isaac - ok
Christopher (kit) - Kit is Wayne Rooney's son3's name
Felix - ok
Hugo - yes
Sebastian - horrible
Gabriel - no
Theo - no
Lysander - no
Finn/Finley/Flynn - no. Finn is cute but I would think of a naughty boy
Oscar - no
Toby - fine
Orlando - no. It would suit a ginger cat.

Violet - Vile-t, Violent. Lovely flower. Viola?
Indigo/Indianna - no. Indiana is the correct spelling if you are thinking of the state, Indigo is a colour.
Alexa/alexis/alexia - Alexia is a condition. Alexa is that thing. I know an Alexis and she's nice but it sounds like a man's name
Phoebe - yes
Isadora - no
Mariella - ok
Seraphina -no
Seren - no. Serena is nice though
Clara - no. Claire is much nicer
Ivy - no
Jasmine - yes
Isla - too popular
Matilda - too popular

Miles, Hugo or Toby.
Phoebe, Jasmine, or Serena.

ChocolateCrunch · 26/03/2018 20:11

I like Felix, Hugo and Finn from the boys' list, and Violet, Clara and Jasmine from the girls'. All of those go really well with Bella and Poppy imo (both lovely names too!).

TheImprobableGirl · 26/03/2018 20:28

I like the brutality M-U-M- perfect! Yes I know about Alexia the condition- the kids love Lexi though... perhaps I’ll get them a Lexi goldfish.

Miles/ Hugo are going towards the top of the list now. Kit’s been dropped (sorry Kit)

Too popular doesn’t really bother me- Isabella and Poppy were both top ten, yet we’re in a fairly big city and I only know one other of each locally- it seems if I pick them at peak popularity then nobody is choosing them due to this iyswim Grin

Flynn is my favourite of your boys' names by a long way; I love it!

Seren and Clara are beautiful; both were on my list for a girl.

MikeUniformMike · 26/03/2018 20:57

If you like Lexi then use it. What matters is that you like the name and that the child likes it. I know lots of people who have names that I wouldn't have chosen but they suit them and have grown on me because of them.
Alexis would shorten to Lexi and might look better when she stands as MP or CEO or something.
I would opt for conventional spelling & pronunciation as it makes life easier.
Kit short for Christopher is nice but I suspect it is getting a bit popular.

ReversingSnail · 26/03/2018 21:02

I like Miles, Dylan, Felix, Theo for a boy, and Ivy, Jasmine, Mariella, Phoebe and Violet for a girl. Suggestions... Leo, Nathaniel, Serena, Anna.

pilates · 26/03/2018 21:07

Finn and Violet
