I’ve got quite a huge list of names, obviously half will be gone in a couple of weeks- but any opinions welcome!

Alexis - great for boy or girl, I know 2 females, 4 males. Hate to say it, but that'd work perfectly on CV's in a male dominated world (hopefully not when your DC enters the working world)....

Alexa/alexis/alexia (love all these) and Clara.

Congrats I like pretty much all your choices, which is very unusual on here.

I would ditch Christopher and Miles because they’re less interesting than the others. And from the girls I would ditch Indiana for being too American, Isla for being too common, Indigo for being very Totnes hippy (unless you are).

Ignore Mike she has terrible taste. Violet is pronounced Vi o let not Vilet.

My favourites are Sebastian, Gabriel, Lysander and Zachary. Girls - Violet, Mariella, Seraphina, Phoebe, Clara.

Many of your names were on my list, especially the boy's list. Other than Max, you have listed all the names on it.

Imogen was also on my girls list, you might like it too.

Myles/Miles - Like, prefer the spelling Miles.

Dylan - Don't like.

Zach - Don't like.

Isaac - Don't like (but you could always use this with the shortening Zach).

Christopher (kit) - Love Christopher, but not a fan of Kit.

Felix - Like.

Hugo - Like.

Sebastian - Love.

Gabriel - Don't like. Too religious for me.

Theo - Like, but prefer it as a shortening for Theodore.

Lysander - Don't like. Very different from the rest of your list. Would look pretentious on 9/10 boys.

Finn/Finley/flynn - Love Flynn, lukewarm on the others.

Oscar - Love.

Toby - Like.

Orlando - See Lysander. Will also only remind people of two things automatically: 1) Florida and 2) Bloom.

Violet - Love.

Indigo/Indianna - Don't like.

Alexa/alexis/alexia - Don't like.

Phoebe - Love.

Isadora - Not a fan. Prefer Isabella.

Mariella - Not a fan.

Seren - Like this a lot, but you could have Seraphina nn Sera which is somewhat similar.

Clara - Like this.

Ivy - Like this, but very "now". I know loads of Ivys born in the last 3 years.

Jasmine - Don't like.

Isla - Don't like.

Matilda - Love.

YaBasic I thought that too if I have two flowers and a random - but she does have the middle name Rose so I can just about justify it if needed
I don't think anyone has terrible taste - everyone has their own preferences which is exactly what I wanted, when someone says "I really don't like Miles" and I think 'what?! that's a lovely name' then I know it deserves to stay on the list.

Similarly if someone says Lysander is uber pretentious then I am inclined to agree with them and therefore this gets struck off the list - it is working amazingly well thus far, I have now got a much shorter shortlist:

Still like Alexa and would choose it in a heartbeat if that bloody thing wasn't called it. I just can't name my child the equivalent of GoogleHome... But I love Alexa Mariella B

You have very similar taste in names to me.

Isaac- I have one so naturally love this!
Myles/ Miles - I really like. I've only ever met one little boy called Miles.
Dylan - Again only met one.
Zach - I like. Can sometimes be a short form of Isaac (so I'm told) although my Isaac just goes by Isaac. I know four Zach's (some with different spellings, Zak or Zack but prefer the one you have chosen).
Christopher - I like but seems a bit dated (not that that's a problem) as I don't know of any under 20). I like Kit as an independent name.
Felix- I always think of the cat (sorry).
Hugo - Neutral to this one. Never met one.
Sebastian - I love this and would be my second favourite after Isaac. I like it shortened to Seb too.
Gabriel- I'm not keen sorry but just personal taste. Nothing wrong with the name.
Theo- I really like! Another of my favourites. Also like Theodore.
Lysander - I've never heard but sounds OK.
Finn/ Finley/ Flynn - Out of the 3 Finn would be my first choice.
Oscar - Another of my favourites! Love this name!
Toby - I'm neutral on. It sounds cute for a toddler. I like Tobias as the full name.
Orlando - I quite like.

Violet- Neutral. I don't think of violent though. Just associate it with the flower and the colour.
Indigo/ Indianna- I like Indigo shortened to Indie maybe.
Alexa/ Alexis/ Alexia - Out of the 3 I would say Alexa and think it's a shame that Amazon Alexa has ruined use of the name! I also like Alexia shortened to Lexi.
Phoebe- One of my favourites that was on my shortlist. Soft sounding feminine name.
Isadora - Quite like this. Also Isolde.
Mariella - Very pretty and unusual.
Seraphina - I love this!
Seren - I also really like.
Clara- My ultimate favourite girls name! If I had another girl she would definitely be Clara.
Ivy - I like but reminds me of a dirty old lady I once knew (sorry just a personal association).
Jasmine - Nice name.
Isla - I really like but know so many!
Matilda - Another of my favourites. I like it either as a full name or shortened to Tilly.

The Tilly shortening put me off the name Matilda when it came to naming my own child. I really dislike it. An Eastern European friend also looked at me incredulously when I said it to her, it seems it is the equivalent of calling a child Gertrude or similar!

Have you an Isabel? That is a similar name to ones on your list. Maybe Cosmos or Tamsin too? I like both but maybe some might think they are pretentious.

Sam is another boy’s name I love.

Well i went for a scan today and was told I am only 8 weeks so i will give it 20 or so weeks and then come back to this list, see what i've gone off
