I like Millie more but depends what you’re shortening it from

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 17/03/2018 12:05

Molly.

Know several cool teens called Molly, it really is a lovely name.

MammieBear · 17/03/2018 12:05

Both are sweet I'd say Molly, it has a less nicknamey image...

FoxyFoxFifty · 17/03/2018 12:06

Love molly, dislike Millie!

Soubriquet · 17/03/2018 12:06

I have a Molly...so I'm not biased at all Grin

EllenJanethickerknickers · 17/03/2018 12:08

I like both. Molly sounds more 'country girl' and strong while Milly/Millie is daintier and 'refined.' In my own head that is! DS3 would have been a Molly or a Milly. Smile

pipilangstrumpf · 17/03/2018 12:08

Both too cutesy for me, but I'd choose Millie if I had to. Probably Millicent.

EllenJanethickerknickers · 17/03/2018 12:09

Molly was a diminutive of Mary originally. Milly could come from Amelia or Millicent.

MandrakeLake · 17/03/2018 12:10

Molly

TatianaLarina · 17/03/2018 12:12

Milky with a y. Don’t like Molly.

TatianaLarina · 17/03/2018 12:13

Milly not Milky 🤓

GinasGirl · 17/03/2018 12:16

Molly, I love it!

Sophronia · 17/03/2018 12:29

Molly

bridgetreilly · 17/03/2018 12:32

Molly. Much cuter and less common.

IVflytrap · 17/03/2018 13:01

Molly.

Dementedswan · 17/03/2018 13:04

I prefer Molly. There are loads of millies.

HopelesslyHopeful87 · 17/03/2018 13:06

I have a Millicent. She's the only one I know and I hate it and you shouldn't use it.

I actually love it and don't want it to be popular!

Arapaima · 17/03/2018 13:07

I like both but Millie is v popular.

ChocolateCrunch · 17/03/2018 13:12

Millie, but both names are very popular.

moofolk · 17/03/2018 14:19

ShortandAnnoying · 17/03/2018 15:12

Millie Molly Mandy Grin

DramaAlpaca · 17/03/2018 15:16

Both too cutesy for me. I'd pick Molly if I had to. I think of Millie as a diminutive for e.g. Amelia or Millicent.

NotAgainYoda · 17/03/2018 15:21

Molly

But both are more suited to a baby/child/cat/dog than an adult
