Your thoughts and opinions on Kaia, please.

I like it!

I worked with a Kaja once. She was lovely and smart, and I think of those things when I hear the name.

It's always been one of my faves and is on my short list for our girl due in May

Is it the feminine version of Kai? I've never heard of it...

I like it. Both the girls I know with this name (junior school aged) are from v middle class, creative/boho type families, fwiw.

Cindy Crawford's daughter, the new supermodel, is called Kaia. It's a nice name.

I prefer it spelt Caia, but I think it's lovely either way.

I like it. It makes me think of Kaia Gerber (Cindy Crawford's daughter) and she is gorgeous.

Pretty sure it's Nordic or just a different spelling of Kaja which is Scandinavian.

Love the automatic 'it sounds foreign' response on Mumsnet which is then covered up with 'sounds made up'

See it all the time, especially with Kaia, Aaliyah, etc.

I like it which is weird for me as I dislike Kai.

But I prefer Kaya which I think is Native American.

Either way it has a lovely sound and it’s feminine yet strong sounding and suits a baby girl all through life to an elderly lady
