Easter name for a boy

Our DS is due on Easter Sunday and whilst he might not make this exact date, we are looking for an Easter inspired middle name.

Our other children have quite unusual middle names that have a reason behind them so we'd like to keep up the tradition we've started!

So what Easter suggestions are there - however tenuous it might be?

Bible names aren't my thing either but I have to say I like Jude Thaddeus and wouldn't have known it was an apostle name.

Vivian means life, but it’s a little ‘out there.’

Raphael means something similar, I think. I’ll check. My friend’s brother is called Raphael- Raf/Raph for short. He’s absolutely gorgeous (nearly 50 now), so I associate the name with utter gorgeousness!

Shockers · 03/03/2018 10:36

Raphael means God has healed apparently.

Definitely Pascal.

I assume you're going with Mini-Egg for the first name?

AliasGrape · 03/03/2018 14:18

Neo - means new, as in new life.

Finn - think the English and Gaelic meanings are to do with blond/fair but in Norse it means ‘finder’ - sure to help him at future egg hunts

Owen - I’ve seen it said on some name sites that it means ‘lamb’ though others say different.

Thornton Grin

Pascha

The paschal week is Easter week.

Was going to say Pascal and Judas (if suitable day of birth) but see others have got there first.

Was thinking about Ostara - pagan Easter goddess, definitely female and about fertility. That also take you to Freyja and rabbits and hares.

Pasquale
