Daisy. There are loads and loads of girls called Lily/ Lillie/ Lilly around here. Were at a wedding last summer, and out of 6 girls aged under 10- 3 were called Lily (or Lily-Mae).

Rae90 · 27/02/2018 11:48

Lily. I find Daisy a bit cutesy.

BerriesandLeaves · 27/02/2018 11:50

Daisy. Lily's been a bit spoiled for me by children at dc school with the name.

FizzyGreenWater · 27/02/2018 12:06

Both are ok. I know more Lilys. Not much to say about either really.

Goldmonday · 27/02/2018 12:07

Daisy all the way

HuskyMcClusky · 27/02/2018 12:08

Daisy

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 27/02/2018 12:09

Love both. Lily just edges it for me.

quinqin · 27/02/2018 12:09

i know neither are particularly interesting or unique but i've been really struggling with finding girl names i like xx

Daisy

LittleMissGiggle5 · 27/02/2018 12:12

I have a DD DaisyGrin I also have twin nieces with middle names Lily and Rose. Lily is a very common first name at their school so I think it suits as a middle but not a first. but I am a tad bias

SummerRoberts · 27/02/2018 12:20

Daisy. It's prettier and less commonly used than Lily.

MrsElvis · 27/02/2018 12:23

In a field of Lillies be a Daisy

RogueAnnJosh · 27/02/2018 12:41

Lily 100%

Beautiful, and more classic.
Also suits an adult woman better IMO

FizzyGreenWater · 27/02/2018 12:43

Yep OP on secodn thoughts - I would go for Daisy, it is far less overused.

You don't sound too sold though! Describing them both as 'uninteresting'? I agree to be honest - so, maybe have a rethink? Start a thread, you'll get loads of suggestions.

Iwasjustabouttosaythat · 27/02/2018 12:44

Lily. I wouldn’t want to be a grown woman hoping to be taken seriously with a name like Daisy.

quinqin · 27/02/2018 12:49

I must have looked through every name there is, i'm far too fussy! having said that, these are the two i like most Xx

Daisy

sexnotgender · 27/02/2018 12:58

I prefer lily but it’s so popular (and lily madigan is about to give me a rage induced stroke) so wouldn’t use it.

Shiraznowplease · 27/02/2018 12:59

My niece is a lily and she is delightful so think I prefer that, I don’t know any Daisy personally but know the mum of one through work and she is a nightmare (mum not child!)which clouds my judgement.

heateallthebuns · 27/02/2018 13:03

Either both lovely!

bluesouper · 27/02/2018 13:04

I'm put off Lily as the flower symbolises death/funerals to me.

Daisy is cute

AnyaMoondial · 27/02/2018 13:05

Daisy. It's brilliant.

PandaCat · 27/02/2018 13:20

Daisy

windchimesabotage · 27/02/2018 13:23

they are both really lovely names but id personally go for Daisy as I think Lily might be very used at the mo so could end up being loads of Lillies in her class at school.
