Do you think she would have to be born in April? Really loving this name but not due then, would that be weird?

No, not at all, lovely name.

(DM is another month, born November, not an issue)

PastaSauceHoarder · 21/02/2018 00:20

Ah this is currently the name my husband and I like for our next girl (not pregnant, just like to plan)! I really like it but I'm wondering the same as you.
Mind you, the name May is used a lot these days. My little girl's middle name is Mae and she was born in June - I think if you like it then you use it!

GrannyMac2018 · 21/02/2018 09:12

There's a little girl in my dds class with this name they're 7. She is born in April but didn't realise until last year ! Very nice name
My dsis named her baby summer and she was born in October !

ChocolateCrunch · 21/02/2018 09:21

I think it's a lovely name, and I don't think you should only use it for April born babies.

GreatDuckCookery6211 · 21/02/2018 09:34

I'm not keen on April, to me it's a Janet, Shirley, Brenda, Diane type of name. I don't think a baby has to be born in April to be named it however.

masktaster · 21/02/2018 09:44

I once know a Winter-May born in July.

An April not born in April is barely a blip on my radar... Grin

HuskyMcClusky · 21/02/2018 09:46

I love the name April.

I don’t think the birth month matters at all.

FreeNiki · 21/02/2018 10:13

I know an April. She was born in April but you don't have to be.

It's cute. Go for it.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 21/02/2018 10:20

Lovely name.

Gates · 21/02/2018 10:41

Love it !!

Aprilshowerswontbelong · 21/02/2018 10:44

Lovely unless your surname is Showers!! Grin

MikeUniformMike · 21/02/2018 13:31

or if your surname is May

RavenWings · 21/02/2018 19:30

Love it.

TulipsInABlueVase · 21/02/2018 22:29

Yes, she would have to be born in April! I think it's crazy to use it for a baby not born in April.

Foxedme · 21/02/2018 22:34

I teach a sweet little girl called April, it's really made me like the name. I don't think she was born in April though.

windchimesabotage · 21/02/2018 22:36

I like April and Avril and I dont think you would need to be born in that month. I love month names. Apparently November is starting to be used as a girls name... think that is lovely!

littlebillie · 21/02/2018 22:36

Avril is nice too

MikeUniformMike · 21/02/2018 22:38

Avril is horrible. Makes me think of Bovril.

Pretty name. I think it's less twee if she isn't born in April.

HuskyMcClusky · 22/02/2018 00:47

Oh yes, please not Avril!

DramaAlpaca · 22/02/2018 00:55

I'd think it was odd if she wasn't born in that month tbh.

HuskyMcClusky · 22/02/2018 00:58

Really?! Genuinely surprised. Wouldn’t occur to me that an April/May/June was necessarily born in their name month. I just think of them as names.

Aprilshowerswontbelong · 22/02/2018 09:00

I have known 2 June's. I born June and one born August!!

Bigfishylittlefishy · 26/09/2018 18:48

My April was born in December. No one ever asks what month she was born in. She was however conceived in April but that was just a total coincedence, we just happened to love the name.

She's nearly 7 now and I have never come across another one!!
