Which name do you like the most? Have finally got my list down to three but just can’t decide! Amaya is pronounced ah-my-yah. Thanks:)

Not keen on Coco.. I want to love it but it feels like more if nickname. You could be missing out on the chance for two really nice names! Maybe Corah/Coco or Cleo/Coco? I don't know... Something like that!
I know a lot of Dogs called Coco, but then I love the name Marley and get the same comments about that name, and it doesn't bother me! (Mainly cause I associate Marley to Bob/reggae and it is also a girls name!)

I think Amaya is lovely. I thought about it myself the other day for my little girl. My boyfriend really likes Maya but it's too popular now so I thought about Amaya.. Unfortunately it she just doesn't feel like one!

Jasmine has always been a fave of mine. I just think it's author a strong pretty name!

Grin (any you pick will be lovely on her I'm sure.. Even Coco!)

GingerMcGrey · 20/02/2018 17:52

I have a Jasmine so I'm a bit biased.

Highpeak · 20/02/2018 17:53

Jasmine all the way,!

Thistlebelle · 20/02/2018 17:54

Jasmine by quite a long way.

Definitely not Coco.

Cosmoa · 20/02/2018 17:54

Whoops! Confused Major typos... Sorry. Super tired!!

Jammycustard · 20/02/2018 17:55

Jasmine.

Not Coco.

Redpramlady · 20/02/2018 17:55

Think most will pronounce it a may a ,
Know a lovely little girl by the name and always though it was pretty

Coco, that's my cat!

Jasmine, know two and both lovely people so positive to me, little one gets Minnie for short

PancakeInMaBelly · 20/02/2018 17:58

Every Jasmine I've met has been wonderful.
I LOVE that name (rhymes with my surname so couldnt use it on my babies :-( )

juneau · 20/02/2018 17:59

Jasmine

Coco = coconut in Italian (and I think Spanish too). Would you want to be called coconut?

And Amaya will be constantly misspelled and mispronounced as A-may-a.

Snoopy90 · 20/02/2018 18:03

Also means poo in Portuguese! Which is the main thing putting me off. I love the sound of it though!

Jasmine

GreatDuckCookery6211 · 20/02/2018 18:07

I like Coco!
But Jasmine is a safer bet.

LadyPug · 20/02/2018 18:11

Jasmine is my favourite. I know an Amaya pronounced like May the month (not my) so I’m guessing ppl might pronounce it wrong

WhereIsBlueRabbit · 20/02/2018 18:13

Jasmine!

Rednailsandnaeknickers · 20/02/2018 18:27

Well tbh they all have a touch of Disney Princess to me but Amaya is the best of the bunch. (Fully aware of history of Jasmine as name before I get jumped on, thanks).

Songofthesouth · 20/02/2018 18:42

Coco is a clown to me sorry.

I taught an Amaya and there wasn’t any confusion with pronunciation.

Jasmine-nice but may increase in popularity with the new Aladdin film coming out

Barre · 20/02/2018 18:43

Coco is too cutesy and informal for a lifelong name.

Amaya is bland to me as there are just so many girls being named very similar sounding names starting and ending with A at the moment.

Jasmine is beautiful.

LadyMarmyLard · 20/02/2018 18:59

Jasmine was on my list, it's beautiful.

I do like Coco, I think that journalist (cherry someone?) has a coco and I thought it was nice..but its a bit too much like a nickname.

Amaya might have a lifetime of everyone mispronouncing her name.

Sophieelmer · 20/02/2018 19:03

Jasmine

TheNavigator · 20/02/2018 19:14

Coco is a bit of a stripper name - like Fifi or Peaches.

Jasmine is a nice name.

Redpramlady · 20/02/2018 19:14

Also I have to add when I think of

coco I think pops!
Coco pops
Juts thought it's worth mentioning

Myunicornfliessideways · 20/02/2018 19:16

In Kreyole the translation of Coco is, er, the equivalent of calling a woman the 'c' word... as in the body part. Blush

You'd probably be ok in the UK but in the States..... not so good.

shartsi · 20/02/2018 19:19

Jasmine

Soubriquet · 20/02/2018 19:22

Amaya is a pj masks character and currently incredibly popular. Pronounced how you said it though Grin

I don't like coco. Too doggy

Jasmine is nice
