Thank you, you wonderful people, for putting up with endless angst from me over this baby's name! Our first dd was so easy! We've decided on Tasmin Angelica. Phew.

I presume you meant tamsin!

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 17/02/2018 07:09

Tasmin is also a name, but not very common.😄

EssentialHummus · 17/02/2018 07:11

Lovely, congrats! I remember feeling that we’d be flipping a coin at the registry office, but everyone gets there. Flowers

flumpybear · 17/02/2018 07:12

Tasmin is a name a friend called her daughter this is too

FlowerPotMum · 17/02/2018 07:16

Lovely. Tasmin is certainly a name,a very nice one at that!

Rainbowsandflowers78 · 17/02/2018 09:25

Oh gosh - I genuinely thought you’d made a mistake in spelling it. I guess you are going to get that a lot!

Tasmin makes me think of Tasmania
Tamsin is much nicer imo!

SuperBeagle · 17/02/2018 09:39

Tasmin seems like a misspelling... Surely it should be Tasman, as in Abel Tasman?

I also assume you mean Tamsin, to be honest. It's sweet.

Buntysoven · 17/02/2018 11:30

Tasmin is a name in it's own right. We dislike Tammy and born into our family she's more likely to be a Taz! Thanks for the love...we're definitely going with it

Rainbowsandflowers78 · 17/02/2018 11:48

Can you spell it tazmin? Might stop the confusion?

Rainbowsandflowers78 · 17/02/2018 11:49

Glad you’ve found a name you love

AnyaMoondial · 17/02/2018 14:14

Tasmin is gorgeous, much prefer it to Tamsin. Congratulations!

SleepFreeZone · 17/02/2018 14:17

You know she faces a lifetime of being called Tamsin😬

SheGotBetteDavisEyes · 17/02/2018 14:20

I have heard of Tasmin, I knew one about 30 years ago! Glad you've decided OP.

Darcychu · 17/02/2018 14:22

Tasmin Angelica as a first name???

Why on earth would you include the Angelica , not only is it a horrid name but it also does not belong in a double barrelled name.

Naillig222 · 17/02/2018 14:24

I’ve never heard the name Tamsin. Tasmin is much nicer.

happytobemrsg · 17/02/2018 14:30

It's so hard choosing a name & virtually impossible to choose one everyone likes (I speak from experience!!). I'm glad you have found a name you love

BendydickCuminsnatch · 17/02/2018 16:15

Darcy why are you assuming it's a double barrelled name? Odd.

Barre · 17/02/2018 16:54

Like it, congrats!

Buntysoven · 17/02/2018 18:07

Thanks. Angelica is a middle name in honour of dh's mum who died last year.

Buntysoven · 17/02/2018 18:08

Oh and I think Darcy is horrid! Wouldn't life be boring if we were all the same?!

bettydraper31 · 17/02/2018 18:16

Your choice is lovely OP! You’re never going to please everyone, thank goodness! I wish we had decided, it’s so difficult! Best of luck to you OP.

Afternoon · 17/02/2018 18:24

Lovely choice OP. Tasmin reminds me of Tasmin Little the violinist, and I also like Angelica 🙂

junebirthdaygirl · 17/02/2018 18:26

I have often heard of Tasmin..not that unusual and a lovely name. Including Angelica after her Grandma is reaally nice.

Rainbowsandflowers78 · 17/02/2018 18:40

June - are you in the uk? Tasmin sounds like an Australian name maybe?

ChocolateCrunch · 17/02/2018 20:56

I like it. Reminds me of the song Sleeping Satellite by Tasmin Archer.
