Not keen on it for a girl, I don't mind it for a boy with the spelling Blake.

MilkTwoSugarsThanks · 03/02/2018 18:06

Blake is fine, Blayke isn't.

MagicFajita · 03/02/2018 18:07

It's fine but not with the spelling Blayke.

Ruffian · 03/02/2018 18:07

Sorry but I think that's awful. It looks confusing written down, as if it were a typo and phonetically - presumably pronounced the same as 'blake' I don't think it's a nice name. Sounds old-fashioned.

ChickensGoBoak · 03/02/2018 18:08

Blake is okay, though not something I'd choose. Blayke is awful.

WhyOhWine · 03/02/2018 18:08

why the y?

I think of Blake as a boy’s name and I don’t like misspellings. April is nice.

JesusTapdancingChrist · 03/02/2018 18:08

Blake, while not to my personal taste, is fine.

Blayke is utterly utterly ridiculous.

GeorgeTheHamster · 03/02/2018 18:08

Take the y out.

I'm not sure about it with the surname?

Aboyce · 03/02/2018 18:08

The more i see/say it, the more i realise i dislike it lol

Blake is fine.

Blayke means she'll have to spell her name out to everyone for the rest of her life.

Piffpaffpoff · 03/02/2018 18:11

Your child will spend their life going

’no, with a y. After the a. There’s a Y.’

So it’s a no from me.

FrancinePefko · 03/02/2018 18:13

Ooh I would spell it "B'laike"....really, really sophisticated.

notangelinajolie · 03/02/2018 18:13

The Y is awful. Blake is ok though.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 03/02/2018 18:20

I'm getting all muddled up saying
Bake Bloyce.

MaryPoppinsPenguins · 03/02/2018 18:25

I like Blake for a girl... but agree about the Y.

GreatDuckCookery6211 · 03/02/2018 18:30

Awful with or without the y. And definitely not for a girl.

Pbandgrapejelly · 03/02/2018 18:32

Blake is fine, Blayke is a terrible misspelling.

MollyHuaCha · 03/02/2018 18:35

From me it's a big no to Blake or any spelling variation I'm afraid.

redfairy · 03/02/2018 18:39

Blake OK- Blayke no way

flaggerblasted · 03/02/2018 18:41

Blake Carrington (Dynasty Grin)

insancerre · 03/02/2018 18:42

Is it pronounced Belly ache?

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 03/02/2018 20:43

April is lovely, sorry, not keen on Blayke.
